That's probably because ABC will be rerunning episodes up until the premiere in Late September(most likely). I thought about this last night and thought it might be September for that reason, probably within a week or two of the 2nd season premiere.

I would think it'll be a bit more than a week or two before the 2nd season premiere. If ABC and Buena Vista are counting on the release of the first season set to get people pumped for season 2, they've gotta realize that dvd buyers won't necessarily cram a whole season's worth of viewing into a week.

Arrested Development has its first season dvd released within three weeks of the 2nd season premiere, but that's understandable in that it's a half hour show: it takes less time to catch up than it would Desperate Housewives.

Awesome! I hope they also include the unaired pilot, I know ALOT of people want to see it :)
