When you go to McDonalds,what do you usually order?

Chicken nuggets and fries. I'm such a litte kid :p

I love their cheeseburgers more than anything else,and nothing beats their icecream-best chocolate sundaes and chocolate thickshakes.
I usually order 2 cheeseburgers,fries,and a chocolate thickshake.For awhile,i was eating their garden salads,but now i give up-If i am going to treat myself to McDonalds,i'm going to get something sugary and tasty :lol:

I hate McDonald's, but if I absolutely HAVE to eat there, I'll get fries and nuggets.

Absolutely nothing...McDonald's is the worst of the worst as far as fast food chains go. May I suggest watching the documentary "Super Size Me" to find out what I'm talking about.

It's a good documentary. I won't reveal any of the storyline, but lets just say, you'll probably swear off McDonald's.

I Think the Documentary is pointless. If you eat Mcdonalds for every meal everyday, Of course its going to affect your health.

That Doesn't mean an occasional Big Mac is going to give you Heart Problems.

It did explain in the documentary that it was an extreme thing he did, but it also points out that McDonald's is a main contributer to a majority of people being overweight and obese. It's fatty, it's greasy and is totally bad for you.

I know its bad,but i love McDonalds,and i dont think i'm jeopardizing my health THAT much because i only eat it in moderation.Its not like i have it all the time,I'd probaly get sick of it real quick if that was the case.

Yeah I agree. It's pointless because no one honestly eats there 3/4 times a day for a certain period of time, well except for the lunatic guy who made that documentary.

I only eat there about every other month. Even when I used to eat there a lot more it was only a few times a month. If I ate anyplace like that guy I'd get sick of their food real fast. :lol:

Its not that bad. There is that one guy who has eaten like 100,000 Big Macs and he is still going strong. I think he eats like two every day or something. Grease keeps your heart well oiled.

It was love at first bite back in 1972 when Don Gorske of Fond du Lac ate his first Big Mac.

On Monday, he ate his 20,000th McDonald’s Big Mac and still relishes every mouthful.

Gorske, who has gained nationwide fame through his daily habit of stopping for a couple of Big Macs and keeping count, was surrounded by about 200 fans and curiosity seekers, and had microphones and camera lenses stuck in his face as he reached a McMilestone in his unusual avocation.

Gorske handed out red lapel buttons and McDonald coupons as he greeted guests before helping cut a green ribbon signaling the rededication of the West Johnson Street McDonald’s store and then settling down to a Big Mac washed down with Coca-Cola.

“It usually takes 16 bites to finish a Big Mac,” he said, “and no, you cannot have the carton (containing the celebrated sandwich) because it’s not for sale. You can’t buy it from me.”

By that count, Gorske has taken 320,000 McBites since he started eating the sandwich that has been the main component of his diet since May 17, 1972.

Most of those sandwiches have been prepared at the Military Road McDonald’s restaurant, but local franchise owner David W. Rause of Valley Management Inc., Neenah, persuaded Gorske to help rededicate the West Johnson Street restaurant after a recent remodeling. Rause owns three McDonalds in Fond du Lac and one in Lomira, as well as several in the Fox Valley.

“Did you have to buy that one?” asked someone in the crowd as an employee delivered the sandwich and drink to Gorske’s table.

“How’d it taste, Don,” asked someone else. “Great. They’re always great,” Gorske responded.

Gorske commented last week that one of his co-workers at the Waupun prison once said, “Don enjoys every Big Mac as though it is his first.”

“He’s the champ. There’s no one in his league. No one even on the radar,” Rause said, calling Gorske one of McDonald’s most faithful customers.

Television crews from VH1 on both the East and West coasts interviewed Gorske on the weekend and filmed the anniversary party, along with several other media from around the area and state.

Taking 3-D photos was Kerry Martin of Madison, who saw Gorske in his cameo role in the independent film, “Super Size Me,” and drove to Fond du Lac. “Only in America,” said Martin, shaking his shaggy head.

Lisa Wondra-Tarrant, general manager at the crowded McDonald’s, commented that she’d never seen the place as crowded and that kitchen crews were standing by, hoping to sell a record number of Big Macs after Gorske finished eating his 20,000th one.

If you eat McDonald's every day, 5-6 times every day YEAH you're gonna get sick, in fact if you eat too much of anything youll get sick. Fast food isnt healthy, but an occaisinal McDonald's meal once a month or so isnt gonna kill you.

I stopped eating at McDonald's over 5 months ago, not because of health reasons (LOL,) but because I got some rude service one day. Ever since then, whenever I think of eating there, I feel like vomiting... seriously.

In the mid-1980's, McDonald's introduced two new burgers that I personally really liked and often ordered:

1. McDLT
2. McRib

However, not too many people must have liked them like I did because those two burgers were soon discontinued.

I used to love the McRib. I don't know why it never caught on.

a friend of mine once ordered a McRib, he didn't like it very much so after one bite he threw it to his dog Bailey - who eats ANYTHING, including sticks and stones - the dog came running over to it, sniffed and started to eat it then dropped it and backed away from it whimpering and ran off.

i never really had the urge to try one after that.

Yes, because I worked there at the time they were selling. They were pretty good, I used to take some home they didn't sell when we closed.

What I also liked about McDonald's when I was young were all the toys that it would give out, usually with its Happy Meals. In late 1982, it was selling a set of five Playmobil toys that had to be recalled. I was lucky to have obtained all five before it was recalled:

I used to like the toys... when I was 5. They still have them, but i dont get happy meals anymore. My little brother is obsessed with them, thats the main reason he likes going to fast food restraunts.

I didnt eat at Mcdonalds for about 5 years because some of thier food has MSG in it and that has caused me minor to severe nerve pain and it affects my whole nervous system!

I have been getting 3 cheeseburgers with extra catchup snd extra onions.... Thankfully they dont bother me... But Double cheeseburgers must have MSG as I get the reaction that night...

I would think Quarter Pounders and Big Macs also have this in them but im not sure... I am grateful the reg cheeseburgers dont have this rubbish in them!!
