Which music do you prefer?
I am a big Bon Jovi fan myself.

I like them both.Aerosmith is great,as is Bon Jovi,but i guess i like more of Bon Jovi's songs,than i do Aerosmith.

Bon Jovi's great, but I'm gonna have to go with Aerosmith. They got some great bad-ass blues going on. The basis for rock and roll is the blues, the heart and soul of American music.

The great thing about Bon Jovi is that they opened the door for manstream acceptance of metal. Jon Bon Jovi is a very friendly, down-to-earth guy

I like both Bon Jovi and Aerosmith, but out of the two I guess I perfer Aerosmith. Up until Aerosmith all the best hard rock bands-Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Black Sabbath-were all British. Aerosmith proved that Americans could rock too.

I have to disagree with Captain ABlairica about Bon Jovi opening the door for "mainstream acceptance" of metal, I think that credit should go to Def Leppard.

Excellent point.

Pyromania was a monster.
Bon Jovi followed later with their own monster, Slippery When Wet.

That being said, I prefer Aerosmith, more for their '70s work though.

Hard to choose.

Bon Jovi "Slippery when Wet" is just great. (Livin' On A Prayer is my favorite song)

Aerosmith has so many timeless songs that are classic. (My favorites- Dream On, Dude Looks Like A Lady, Train Kept A Rollin'...more...)

I like Aerosmith better I think.

Aerosmith is the better band, but personally I'd go for Bon Jovi, at least pre-90's BJ

Aerosmith I prefer but then againg I haven't heard that many Bon Jovi songs.

I'm a fan of both but yeah, gotta go with Aerosmith.

Bon Jovi, especially "It's My Life" hee hee!

I thought Aerosmith was fantastic when I was growing up in the 70's, and I looooove the song from "Armageddon"! But I kinda lost interest in hard rock in college (huge Bowie fan then). I do agree they showed a thing or two to the British rockers, though LOL!

Aerosmith. They were a hit machine. I love their songs, and they're from my hometown of Boston. :D

I have to agree with this one, I love both Steve Tyler and Jon Bon Jovi's sounds, I love the bands, but I have more of Bon Jovi's stuff than Aerosmith.

It is kinda funny, of both of the more recent love ballads these bands put out, I really can get into both "Don't Want to Miss a Thing" and "Thank you for Loving Me." Both bands and lead singers really know how to get to a girl's heart and sweep you away! Even tho Jon is a bit more of a pretty boy :crazy: , Steve has a certain charm too, even with those lips of his! LOL I love the commercial he does for the camera, where his fans are trying to get a candid pix of him!

I think "Crush" was a great album BTW, even tho I know most BJ fans like their 80's stuff more. My anthem is "It's My Life"! lol :lol:

I've never been a BIG fan of these two bands, but I'd have to go with Aerosmith because I like more of their songs.

With Bon Jovi I only like thier FIRST 2 ALBUMS...... They became crap with the 3rd one on.... (Mainstream pop sounding instead of heavy rock)

My favourite song is IN AND OUT OF LOVE from thier 2nd album.....


Aerosmith had 4 or 5 good albums and then that AWESOME CONCERT in 1978!! (I have that on VHS) before going downhill.......

But its hard to say because they are both diff kinds of music.. Aerosmith is classic rock (In the 70s) but Bon Jovi really isnt.. (They didnt start until 1984)

I'm really not a heavy metal or hard rock fan. Having said that for me it's Bon Jovi definitely. I can't stand Steven Tyler and I hate his singing. Or to be blunt I think Steven Tyler can't sing whereas I think Jon Bon Jovi's got a great voice.
