Buy a new car,and a house for myself. A car for my parents Give some money to close friends, and family. And spend the rest. *Pleasant Tomorrow* 02-05-2005, 02:04 PM you like to post topics. I don't know, charities and some **** of my own. Mijada 02-05-2005, 02:31 PM Pay off my house and buy a better one. Buy a couple cars, travel, give some to charity and invest the rest. Kay Scarpetta 02-05-2005, 04:57 PM Travel, pay off my parents bills, college, couple of cars, shop of course, and give some to some animal charities. Superstar 02-05-2005, 05:12 PM House, buy everything I want, a car or two, charity vienna waits 02-05-2005, 05:56 PM college/charities/buy some junk/invest/put some into a CD at the bank/new house for my parents. x3 Taylor x3 02-05-2005, 06:01 PM Buy a huge house, save some for college, give some to charities, and probably just blow the rest on useless ****. Janet McFarland 02-05-2005, 06:04 PM Give to the Make A Wish Foundation, pay off my parents' bills, save money for college for me and my brothers, buy a new house/car, take a trip to Europe, and spend the rest on some things I don't need. Kazza 02-05-2005, 06:27 PM I would save a big % and spend the rest with my kids Chelsea 02-05-2005, 06:31 PM Firstly is the obligatory payment to Uncle Same. Then is the obligatory payment to the State of Kentucky. ---- After that.... First: I've been eyeing a Corvette for ages now...I'd like to get one before the Box Syndrome fully affects it too. Next would be a respectable house...Smaller at first, but definitely expandable for more bedrooms/bathrooms later. Next would be to set aside enough money to go to...well...a better school than WKU. I'd invest around $500,000 in a portfolio. The majority would be in more conservative investments,to ensure my future kids could go to college...while I'd place a small to medium amount in moderate to somewhat high risk ventures...Enough that I could make a sizable profit, while still not being excessive enough to come close to bankrupting myself should they go South. The rest will be split. Around half would be kept in savings for general everyday living expenses (plus I have to furnish the house)....The remainder would be split among a couple of charities. What, were you expecting me to say I'd buy a penguin farm? Kay Scarpetta 02-05-2005, 08:45 PM What, were you expecting me to say I'd buy a penguin farm? No. I thought you were buying a kangroo! MandieR1980 02-05-2005, 10:32 PM I'd buy my mom a new house, a new house for me and a new house for dad so he doesn't have to be stuck with his evil girlfriend. I'd go shopping for anything I wanted. Donate to charities. TJL 02-05-2005, 10:53 PM After giving my family some of the winnings, I'd pay off my bills, buy a nice new place in Manhattan, invest the rest and live comfortably while I pursue my interests. I would also begin holding open auditions for trophy wives. dawsongirl 02-06-2005, 12:18 AM After that.... First: I've been eyeing a Corvette for ages now...I'd like to get one before the Box Syndrome fully affects it too. I'd buy a few actually...a 90s Vette, a 63 split window for my dad (he loves those things), and a 61 or 62, like Tod and Buz drove on Route 66. Then I'd buy my dad a 63 Jaguar XKE. I think they're ugly as hell, but he loves them too. And I was the reason he got rid of his last one. Then I'd buy me a Toyota Solara. I think they're sharp looking cars. Save a lot for insurance on cars and license fees. :o Pay off my and my folks damn credit cards. Let my mom buy something. Whatever she wants. Put the rest away in a high yield interest account. Watch it grow. Rebel Queen 1980 02-06-2005, 01:31 AM I'd give some to my mom and dad.Social Security is on the verge of bankruptcy,If that were to happen.Problem solved,my parents would have money for retirement and health reasons. Give some to my aunt who has kidney disease. She is a single mother and grandmother. Her kids and grandkids can have some too. Keep some for myself. For health reasons, emergencies and other causes. ponytail 02-06-2005, 09:03 AM I'd quit my job. See a finiancial adviser. Share with my family. Give to my favorite charities. Then build myself a small environmently friendly house on a huge chuck of land with lots of animals. I would also do lots of traveling. robyrob 02-06-2005, 11:41 AM i think i'd get a really big jar of pickles, some new toys for the cats, maybe even a new bed for Glitchee, maybe pay to get the car professionally washed and waxed, and I think i'd buy a new door knocker. |
