new fans of Three's Company will want to see the spinoff and since TV LAND has no plans in airing Three's a Crowd why even show the part with Jack and Vicky in bed??? The ending of the episode should be when the Trio leaves the APT. That part with Jack and Vicky was created in 1984 to get viewers ready for Three's a Crowd. So why the hell is TV LAND showing that last part?-LOL

I agree they should have just ended the show on TVland w/the last part of the trio leaving!! I didn't watch the epi last night but I did rec. it once to have it and if its the same w/Icky and Jack its UNNECESSARY!!!!

Whether you want to see Three's A Crowd or not is immaterial, people should be able to see the finale in its entirety

You are right! Sorry!! I know there are lots of pple out ther that dont' think like me!!! SOrry I just can't stand that Jack and Janet didn't end up together and Terri just moved away like all of a sudden it was a horrible ending and I hate watching it! But I do understand there are others that do want to watch it! Even if it doesn't relate to TC (the reall characters all of them) at all!

But Brian that scene with Vicky is not really apart of the Finale. It's was created to get viewers ready for TAC. That Vicky and Jack scene will should be cut out of syndication. Plus the part when Mr. Bradford tells Vicky and Jack he owns the building, TV LAND removed the pArt when Three's a CROWD appears on the screen. So why not just remove the entire Jack and Vicky scene?-LOL

Because it was still a part of the finale, whether it was to sell TAC or not. If it was edited out, alot of people would want to see it including you and I.

But Brian how could new generations of TC fans want to see something that never knew existed?-LOL They would just think that when the Trio left the Apt, that was it until the 8th season is on DVD

But for television buffs like ourselves, we want to see shows as they originally aired. If it was edited out, a new TC fan will eventually be curious as to what it was and want to see it.

OK so let's say someone who was born in 1993 and now is getting into three company, if they watch the finale and see the closing credits roll after the Trio leaves the APT how would they know that it was more to see? Now me and u would know something was missing but someone born in 1993 would think that's the real ending

They would know if they were a big fan. Because if they were a big fan, they would probably want to find out more information about the show. They would most likely go online, find out more, and eventually learn about the true ending. Then they would be curious to see it.

Nitpicking again SOLOMON? What if you had NEVER seen that scene? You would be complaining and wanting to see that scene. Nothing ever satisfies you, I see. Maybe TV Land will someday air Three's a Crowd.

Solomon at it again I see ;)

So you want to deny future fans of the show one scene because you don't like a spinoff? I know if it were me I'd wanna see it. Like Brian Damage said, people should be able to see it in it's entirety

No I was saying that since tv land won't air Three's a Crowd, they should cut the Vicky/Jack scene in bed because that scene was created for TC in 1984 so they can get ready for the Spinoff. So when a New TC fan sees that scene they will wonder why TV LAND is not showing the spinoff and going back to season 1 instead. I liked TAC but not as much as TC

Every time the finale comes on I get sad--who doesn't? But then I realize that because we are in the age of reruns, we get to see the whole series over again (well, maybe not the whole because TVLand is only airing TC from episode #4).

Ok, so there is a new fan of TC that sees your edited version of the finale and thinks that's how it ends. Alot of fans like to research the show on the internet and get info on it. What if they find out that the show was cut? Don't you think they'd want to see the true ending? Keep in mind, this isn't the 80's or even the early 90's. Internet access is rampant and there is tons of information about everything. A fan somewhere somehow is going to stumble on this info and want to see the ending. You can't deprive fans of that. New or old.

hey, so some people don't care for the last part of the last epi of TC. isn't that are right? TV Analizer can feel how he feels he doesn't make desicions over TVLand he's just voicing his opinion. and as long as i agree with it is cool. omg! i never thought i'd say that. :D

Although the last part of the finale has little to do with TC, I thought it was one of the funnier moments on that episode(besides Larry and Mr. Furley doing their moving bit...hahah, I love Larry!! He's so damned underrated that it's criminal). :D

while we are on the subject of the last espisode, why was Terri the last one to leave the apartment and look back for the final time. shouldnt it have been JOhn or Janet since they were the originals?

I didn't understand it either. Don't get me wrong, I love Terri, but I thought either Jack or Janet should of shut the door in the last episode. I mean, they were there for the entire show, one of them should of been the one to shut the door.

Actually it should have been Janet since she was there before Jack-lol

ya, i wondered that too, i think Jack should have been the one to do it, i don't think joyce could have done anything else, she couldn't even get her lines out, i think she would have started crying too much. Well, who knows, maybe she was supposed to close the door, but she didn't want to and they changed it, i don't know
