My favorite albums by them are Keep It Live, Joystick, Jukebox. They're from my hometown Cleveland, Ohio. Skip Martin who used to be the lead singer has his own website. I have Keep It Live, On the One, Joystick, and Jukebox.
Keep It Live is the best by FAR! The other albums dip in quality and sound dated, imo.
Am I the only one who's not into "Joystick"?

I love these two songs by the Dazz Band. "Let It Whip" and "Joystick".

I'm looking for their 1980 album Invitation To Love. It's got two songs that my dad taped from way back in 1981, "Skate Lovers" and "Shake It Up". Based on those two cuts, I'd like to get my hands on that LP.

Go to Musicstack.com & order Invitation To Love album. They have the album for cheap. I haven't heard that album & On The One album. How could you not like their Joystick album or are you talkin about Joystick song?

LadyBee you should check out Skip Martin's website. He used to be the lead singer of Dazz Band. I've emailed him a couple of times & he's responded back saying he appreciates me being a fan of the group. Dazz Band's The Hot Spot album is also good.

Both, actually. I liked "Straight Out of School" and some other song. It's been awhile since I've listened to this album. Like I said, I thought this album sounded dated and I thought it mostly contained filler tunes. With all the drum programming and synthesizers played, "T-Mata" the instrumental, was an odd choice to include on this album, imo. That song stood out by contrast from the other cuts. :)

You are trippin. I can't get enough of their Joystick album. I listen to it a lot cause a friend of mine burned it for me on cd off the internet. I'm glad he burned me a copy cause it's not available to buy on cd. Only song i don't like on that album is Until You even though it's not that bad of a love song. I just don't listen to it. Keep It Live, Joystick, Jukebox albums stay in my car cd player.

To each his/her own. Keep It Live is a cut above the rest, imo. :)

I got a question about Dazz Band's Let It Whip song. What does Let It Whip mean? I asked my father that & he said what do i think it means. If i knew what it meant, i wouldn't have asked him LOL.
