Has anyone else noticed that Sam wears the same silver heart necklace around her neck in every episode of Bewitched? Just wondering if someone could tell me the significance of the necklace...

I noticed that too.She's always got on,even when she's wearing a nightgown.Her husband gave it to her.Pretty necklace too.

I fell in love with Liz/Sam's diamond heart necklace. In fact, I bought one myself after seeing it in the jeweler's window! Mine's a bit smaller than the one on the show but it's white gold pave, just like the original. :)

That's right. EM's then-husband, Bewitched director Bill Asher, had given it to her as a gift. So she wore it all the time, both in the show and in her personal life. The necklace then was lost towards the middle of the series, so EM had a couple of copies made out of rhinestones. In the final season she wore a choker with an "S" charm. The Ashers' marriage was breaking up by that point so she just stopped wearing the heart necklaces.
