Classic album. This is the last good album they made. I think Kelly Isley died shortly after this album. Ernie Isley, Marvin Isley, Chris Jasper left the group after this album i believe to form their own group Isley Jasper Isley. Isley Jasper Isley had the hit songs Caravan Of Love & Insatiable Woman on their own. The songs i like on Between The Sheets album is Choosey Lover, Touch Me, I Need Your Body, Between The Sheets(plenty of rappers have sampled this), Let's Make Love Tonight, Way Out Love, Gettin Over, Rock You Good instrumental.

Could you not make so many different threads just to mention what songs you like on one album? You started over 50 different threads in the last 3 days. You're pushing other threads down or off the page by starting so many unnecessary threads. You know if someone who was into rock or country did the same thing you're doing, you would have something to say about it. Why not just make one Isley Brothers thread, one The Time thread, one Jacksons thread, etc.? All these separate threads aren't necessary.

Yes sir. You are such a cry baby. I wouldn't care if somebody else made separate threads about rock & country albums cause i wouldn't respond to them anyway LOL.

I thought people could post whatever they wanted? I hardly see this type of music of this board. It's called addin' flava.

Thanks for agreeing with me GarfieldKool. It's ok for Vashti1999 to post topics about Prince on here all the time & other wack artists he likes but when i try to add flavor to this forum by posting topics about albums that nobody on here posts about, he cops a attitude.

Number one, no, we can't post whatever, there are rules to posting on these boards.

Number two, I don't have any problem with the types of albums isiahthomas is posting about, all I said is a thread for every single damn album isn't necessary. I made my comment like a man and he calls me a crybaby. I disagree with what he's doing and he's taking it like a personal attack.

Number three, I can point to a few Prince threads started by isiahthomas over the past few days. Show me ONE Prince thread I've started in the last month. Talking about him and starting useless threads about him are two different things. If he's so wack, why are YOU starting threads about him?

Common sense: let it be your friend.

He shouldn't respond to your posts. I don't want to cause trouble, but that sounds like discrimination. As much as I love funk/r&b/hip-hop, I'm not going to post about it all the time, because everyone has different preferences. I'm not going to talk about Kool & the Gang all the time. I would get bored doing that.

I never said Prince is wack. I just posted those albums of his so i can get your opinion on them Vashti1999 since you're his biggest fan.

even tho I disagree with Isiah's opinion on pop and rock music. I would much rather see 100 threads about classic r&b albums than see threads about anyone associated with American Idol.

I don't mind the threads since he posts about some of the music I listen to however I would suggest making like 1 thread about each artist instead of making a thread for their every album...other than that i dont care what the hell he does

That's pretty much what I suggested in my first post. I wasn't knocking him talking about this genre of music, I love it too. But I think 15 to 20 different artist threads discussing various albums would be better than 50+ individual album threads. It's kind of overwhelming.

Not sure if this is directed at me. I guess we'll never know since you say "I ain't about to get into this so I'm out of this discussion."

If you do get back into this discussion, let me know if this is directed at me so I can respond. Thanks.

If you like to post everything about about the artists and albums on R&B music, take this to my message board (http://brooklynguy78.proboards43.com).:)

It wasn't specificly directed towards you vashti1999, I was quoting agreeing with Isiah when he said you posting about Prince all the time. I love Prince, and he is the man, I was agreeing that if you post too much about one artist can get boring.

Here's the thing. I mention Prince alot, but there's a difference between mentioning him in threads and starting a whole bunch of threads about him. I've probably started 25 Prince related threads (give or take a few) in the year and change since I've been posting, and it's never been to the obsessive point of starting a whole bunch of threads in a few days time. I have absolutely no problem with the artists or music isiahthomas has been posting, I like all those artists too. My only complaint was that the music boards were being bombarded with multiple threads that could have been condensed into fewer threads. It had nothing to do with the type of music he was mentioning. So it bothered me you using the word "discrimination", because that wasn't the case. I've posted about Donna Summer, about Creed, about John Mellencamp, it's not all about Prince with me. And I never call the artists someone else likes wack just because I don't like them.

The thing is that this is a community, and I don't think it's right for someone to start over 50 threads in 3 days. That gives the impression that he's just going to take over the music board and post thread after thread after thread. All the forums I've been on I've never seen someone start so many posts like that, especially when like I said, there could be one thread talking about all Isley Brothers albums, one thread on all Jacksons albums, etc. That was my only problem with these threads, the quantity and frequency, not the subject. It wasn't an attack on isiahthomas or the types of artists he was posting about.

Edit:
I just checked. I've started 16 Prince threads on the music board, so that averages to one thread a month since I've been here. Two on the movies board. In what's been the most successful year for him in ages, so you could understand a fan's eagerness to post topics about him.

I respect all kinds of music. I might not listen to everything, but I respect it. Just because I don't listen to this or that, I'm not going to hate it. It was meant to be heard, meaning everyone has a different taste for something. I don't hold the world responsible for something I listen to because everyone has different taste. I love funk music, but I don't expect everyone one this board or any other person to listen to it. I don't get into country music, but I respect it because it has a huge fan base. I wouldn't go out my way to bash it pubicly, because there are people who might object to it and plus, that's not in my nature. I agree some of those threads could have been broken down, but because I'm a fan of the music, and I related to it, I responded on every thread. I don't think Isiah was trying to take over the board, he was just adding it because the music hardly gets discussed.

that's one thing I agree with. If you see 10 people on a board who like ____ band or artist, why go and say the artist is "wack", when apparently you're offending more than one person?

Give me "wack pop stars" (save American Idol stuff) over 90% of the current stuff that passes for hip hop music.

Alright Vashti1999 i won't make so many posts about a bunch of albums by different r&b & rap artists. Can i get ya'll opinions on Between The Sheets album? This was posted so i can get people's opinions on the album. This topic isn't for talkin about me posting so many topics about different albums by r&b & rap artists.
