This song is a classic. I remember the song was played in Beverly Hills Cop movie during the scene when Eddie Murphy took Billy Rosewood & John Taggert to a strip club. Eddie was dancing LOL. Eddie said to Billy, don't be embarrassed about your d**k gettin hard, it's supposed to be hard hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Eddie said Taggert wouldn't tell you if his d**k was hard LOL. Eddie was a trip back in the day. Anyway Nasty Girl song is the jam. I never heard Vanity 6's debut album. Vanity had a couple of solo albums after she left the group. On her first solo album, she had the hit song Pretty Mess which she has a video for. VH1 shows that video every now & then. I used to love me some Vanity back in the day. I had a crush on her after seeing her in The Last Dragon movie. I was blown away by how beautiful she was & she had nice long hair. Action Jackson is the last movie i saw her in. She had a serious drug problem back in the day & it almost killed her cause she had a drug overdose. Then she found the lord & she's been a evangelist ever since. She has her own website. I emailed her a couple of times & she never responded. I would've loved to hear from her but i know she doesn't wanna be reminded of her past.

I'd love it if they reissued the Vanity 6 CD. It's been out of print for ages and fetches big time $ on ebay.

I love the three tracks I've heard of theirs (Nasty Girl, He's So Dull and Drive Me Wild). VH1 Classic ocasionally airs the Drive Me Wild video

"Nasty Girl" was a good song by Vanity 6. It was from the soundtrack to "Girl 6" and it was directed by Spike Lee. I heard the beginning of the song that the beat was used before they used the same beat for Britney Spears' "I'm a Slave 4 You". I don't know any of the beats of the songs "Nasty Girl" and "I'm a Slave 4 You" didn't make any difference at all.

I didn't know Nasty Girl song is on Girl 6 soundtrack.
