Classic soundtrack to a classic movie. I like the songs Can't Stop The Street by Chaka Khan, I Can't Live Without My Radio by LL Cool J, If I Ruled The World by Kurtis Blow, All You Can Eat by Fat Boys, Holly Rock by Sheila E, She's On It by Beastie Boys, Love Triangle by The Gap Band, Tender Love by Force MD's, Krush Groovin by Run DMC, Fat Boys, Kurtis Blow, Sheila E.

She was hot back in the day. She still looks hot now. I saw her at the BET awards last year playin drums for Jay-Z during his performance. I wish that would've been me kissing her in that love scene in her bedroom instead of Blair Underwood in Krush Groove LOL. Have you heard her Romance 1600 album? The song A Love's Bizarre is on that album. I haven't heard the album but i wonder if it's any good. She performed A Love Bizarre in Krush Groove.

Basically, you like everything except Debbie Harry's Feel The Spin.

The movie wasn't that great. Beat Street was the best 80's hip hop movie.

Feel The Spin is the only song i didn't like on the soundtrack. Krush Groove is better than Beat Street to me.

I like Tender Love the best and I guess I'm not alone- it was the highest charting single overall on the charts- #2 adult contemporary, #10 pop and I think #4 r&b. Funny since it is a ballad from a hip hop movie. Are there any other ballads on this album?

I liked the theme song Krush Groovin Body Movin as well. This was when rap songs weren't about bling bling and getting tipsy and killing each other. Kurtis Blow's song was cool too.

As for hip hop soundtrack music I really liked Breakin There's No Stoppin Us by Ollie and Jerry, though I haven't heard the rest of the soundtrack.

Tender Love is the only ballad from the Krush Groove soundtrack, though it wasn't necessarily a hit based on its connection with the movie. The Force MD's also had the studio album Chillin' out at that time and if I remember correctly, the single was promoted as more of a song from their album than from the Krush Groove soundtrack. If you remember the video, it was pretty much the group performing the song, as opposed to a video that included clips from the movie and such.

Is Debbie Harry the woman that used to be in the group Blondie?

I'm (lazily) looking for this. I would like to see this album re-issued.
