Unfortunately, I don't have any Jeffery Osborne's music. But I will at some point.

I have this on cassette. We're Going All the Way is my favorite of all the songs on it. This album was up for a grammy in 1983 against Billie Jean by Michael Jackson and records by Marvin Gaye, James Ingram and Prince. From that list I would vote for Jeffrey as the best one.

That's a bold statement saying that you think Jeffrey's album is better than Michael & Prince's albums that same year. Thriller came out in 1982.

Who cares what music critics think really? I know most every critic thinks Michael Jackson and Prince are far superior to Jeffrey Osbourne, but for my tastes I prefer Osbourne's singing, he has a deeper, richer, warmer vocal style and his music makes me happier than Prince or Michael Jackson's high pitched singing which I find disturbing. If I want to be disturbed and grated I kind get that in a million places. Osbourne's music is more uplifitng to me. That's just my opinion.

You're right. I never cared about other people's opinions about music artists either. Jeffrey Osborne is a very good singer & i like his voice also. My father has LTD's greatest hits cd. I like their songs Where Did We Go Wrong, Love Ballad(George Benson did a remake of this), Everytime I Turn Around(Back In Love Again), Holding On.

I like all of those songs. I like Benson's version of Love Ballad- he really kicked that one up several notches above the slower original. I like it a lot more now than when it was on the charts in 1979. Back in Love Again was LTD's biggest hit and it is a kicking song! It was their only song to hit the pop top 10 in late 1977. Holding On When Love is Gone is also a very happy sounding song considering the lyrics.

De La Soul sampled LTD's Love Ballad on their song Much More on their new cd The Grind Date.

One of my favorite Jeffrey Osborne songs was the theme to the movie "The Toy." It believe it's called "I Just Wanna Be Your Friend". I've never seen it on any Jeffrey's CDs though. They should have included it on one of Jeffrey's compilations or something.
