Horace Rumpole is an aging English barrister at law, defending accused murderers, thiefs, and other assorted thugs in London's downtown court, The Old Bailey. Starring Leo McKern as Rumpole, this collection of episodes authored by John Mortimer originally aired on PBS in the 80's and 90's (as part of the Mystery series), and has developed a cult following on both sides of the Atlantic. I have all 7 seasons of Rumpole, the first 4 Seasons on 9 DVDs (3 eps per disc), including the pilot, with a video quality of 10/10, and Seasons 5 - 7 on 9 DVDs (2 eps per dvd), quality 8.5 - 9 out of 10. DVD extras are included on all discs.
