What is it and why?

At the end of one of the episodes in series 3, Ellen was plugging her book and she said "Read books, learn more about the world.....but don't stop watching television - that'd be a BIG mistake!" That's pretty much my philosophy in life http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

In one episode, Audrey set up a lesbian book section and lots of lesbians started going over to it anyway Joe said to Ellen "What do you call that many lesbians" and Ellen says "Four" and Joe stands looking amazed.
