rusyd 02-01-2005, 09:18 PM Thanks for the links. I replied to all of them. :)
Sarah The Trivia Hound 02-02-2005, 04:40 PM Thanks for helping all of us American Dreams fans do something about trying to save the show. You have provided a wonderful service to all of us loyal fans. Thanks.
PS: Everyone click on the links!!!!!!!!!!!!
ADfanclub 02-05-2005, 01:17 AM Unfortunately, NBC executives are not swayed by names on an e-petition. The way to really get your voices heard, and the help the show is to write to the NBC presidents, and the companies that sponsor and advertise during American Dreams.
For all the addresses, go to: www.americandreamsfanclub.com/dreamalive.htm
To read about why e-petitions don't work, go to:
http://www.snopes.com/inboxer/petition/internet.htm
Thanks for all your support and help for the show- we CAN save it!!! :)
lisava 03-09-2005, 03:28 PM Thank you so much!!! I signed and sent on the web addresses. Thanks again!!!!:)
newsie007 03-17-2005, 08:05 PM Other website chat-rooms and threads about trying to save "American Dreams" have suggested postcards are the best way to contact NBC executives Jeff Zucker and Kevin Reilly... and they may indeed be right.
but most folks may only think they can e-mail NBC's "general" e-mail address... and another thread has suggested those e-mails won't get forwarded to Mr. Zucker and Reilly. That's probably true... HOWEVER...
I used to work for NBC... and their e-mail system works as follows. The person's first name... a period... last name, the @NBC.com.
So it's worth sending your e-mails DIRECT to Mr. Zucker and Mr. Reilly's offices at the following e-mail address.
JEFF ZUCKER e-mail is: Jeff.Zucker@nbc.com
KEVIN REILLY e-mail is: Kevin.Reilly@nbc.com
If you want to save American dreams... start sending those e-mails AND letters. i've sent e-mails to these addresses... and they HAVE NOT come back as "undeliverable"... so they are going to an office connected to these NBC executives.
START WRITING NOW!
newsie007 03-17-2005, 08:11 PM I accidentally mispelled NBC Kevin reilly's name in my previous posting about his e-mail address... in order to save American Dreams.
NBC Exceutive in charge of entertainment 's DIRECT e-mail address is: Kevin.Reilly@nbc.com
Write to him... and Jeff Zucker of NBC at:
Kevin.Reilly@nbc.com
and
Jeff.Zucker@nbc.com
save American Dreams!
AD FAN 03-26-2005, 10:46 PM Are you sure those e-mail addresses are right? Cause my cousin works for NBC and her email address ends in nbcuni.com or something like that. Just wondering. (uni = universal)

Nabisco I think is under Kraft but actually you should e-mail/write to the all the sponsers of the show. There's Campbells or even Ford Motor Co.
I'll stick the whole list here but first here's something from USA Today.
Here's something else to help out (maybe). USA Today has a list of shows you can: "keep, drop or don't care" and an e-mail address to tell them, "What's the one show you couldn't live without". Here's the link:

HipsHoney 05-16-2005, 09:14 AM I have written to the WB network in hopes of getting them to pick up American Dreams. It can't hurt, and I think the show is more suited to their line-up anyway. NBC sucks anymore. Here is the email for WB..faces@thewb.com.
Just an idea...as it seems all letters, emails, sky writings etc, have fallen on deaf ears...as NBC chooses to keep crap like According to Jim and 10 different Law and Order shows....morons.
annieteeks 05-16-2005, 11:02 AM  To all American Dreams fans. The sets have all been sold and I have been lucky to acquire some of the props from the show, including the original American Bandstand sign, J.J.'s football trophies, Patty Pryor's spelling bee trophy (the one she gave back) and Jack Pryor's checkbook from the TV shop, as well as a few radios. I will be putting the items on eBay during the coming week, seller name is annieteeks. I LOVED this show and am so happy to be able to offer other fans the chance to own a piece of television history. Thanks for your time.
