Wow! That is so exciting!

I wanted to let you all know that I had an ultra sound last Thursday. The doctor says that everything looks great! We also found out that this one looks like it's going to be a little Robert or Lawrence. We'll be able to tell better during my ultra sound in May. I'll be sure to keep you all updated. :)

That's THRILLING! Did you get one of the new 3-D thingies? They are so cool! Seeing the babies in this way is exciting!

No, it was just the regular black and white one. I couldn't figure out what we were looking at sometimes, but it was really neat to see the little guy move around. The doctor took a lot of profile shots, so you could really see a good view of his head, legs and arms. It's hard to believe that he's only 2 1/2 inches long and so well formed already!

Oh yes, perfectly formed, beautiful, and already showing personality at such a young age! It's really miraculous.

That is very exciting, Carrie! Your two boys will keep you hopping, I'm sure! I'm glad everything is going well.

I SEE HIM! OH, HOW WONDERFUL!!!!!! GOD is pretty doggone SMART, isn't He?! :lol: He's PRECIOUS!

OMG! I can see him so clearly!!! (and I don't normally - I'm like Rachel - where is it!!!) But yeah, can make out the head, belly and waving hand.....gee I can almost even make out a remote control in it already!!! :lol:

I do too! I put all of my son Ethan's pictures in his. I'm planning on doing the same with this one too. I can't wait to see the pictures in May when he's a lot bigger!

If I ever had a boy, I would not know what to name it!!!!! I know a bunch of girl's names I love, but I always thought boy's names were boring... LOL. Congrats!

Thanks Jessica. :) I went back to the doctor today and we got to hear the heartbeat again. We took our son with us this time. He thought it was so neat to hear his little brother's heartbeat. He had a huge smile on his face. My next ultra sound is going to be on June 1st. If it's definitely a boy, we're going to name him Lucas Michael. :)

And that's a great idea about adding the ultrasound pics to their baby album!

I was the third and last born, so by the time I came along, my parents weren't into taking as many baby pics (and were probably too busy)!! Pics of me didn't show up until I was a few months old so I went through that thing some kids do where I suspected I was adopted!! :lol:
The only way my parents could prove to me that I was in fact theirs, was that I have the same webbed toes my father did!! :lol:

Ethan's going to love being a big brother - especially when you let him follow your pregnancy closely. He'll feel like he's really a "part of it" and should bond with Lucas even before he arrives! :) What a great time for you!

Thanks! We're going to take him with us when we go for my ultra sound. I can't wait to see his face when he sees the baby moving around inside his mommy's tummy! This morning, the doctor let him press the buttons on the heartbeat monitor. It was so cute!!!

Just wanted to let you all know that my ultra sound went really well this morning. The baby is doing fine and my due date is right on. He's definitely a boy! The doctor says that he weights around 1 lb. 1 oz. I will scan one of the pictures and post it here when I get a chance. :)

Here's a picture of the baby. It's a close-up shot of his face looking at us. The doctor tried to get a profile, but he was moving around a lot. I definitely think this one is going to as active as my first. :D

Congratulations and am glad everything is going great with your pregnancy, I remember my wife and I being just as excited when our second daughter was born, miracle of birth is wonderful. 1 suggestion though for the middle name of your son: ROSEBUD Just think of how you can explain that to him :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

Just wanted to let you all know that we're doing fine. 5 weeks to go! I'm going to the doctor tomorrow (going every week now) so I'll be sure to give you all an update. :)

Everything went well at the doctor today. I'm dialated 1 cm, so that's good. It could be that way for weeks though, so I'm hoping he'll hold out until October 4th. ;) The baby is just basically putting on weight now, so he'll be good and healthy for delivery. More updates next week. :)

Just wanted to let you all know that I'm now back on bed rest. I got really sick about a week and a half ago. It left me pretty weak and dizzy. The docs say the only thing that will help me feel better is to have the baby. Hopefully that will happen in the next week or so. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to get online, but I will be sure to post pics of our new little one once I'm feeling better. You all take care and I'll talk to you soon. :)

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let you know that I still haven't had my baby yet. He was due last Tuesday. I guess he's comfortable in there. :) I went to the doctor on Friday and they scheduled me to go into the hospital this Thursday morning to be induced if nothing happens before then. Here are some pictures of our new baby boy. He decided to come into the world on his own early Tuesday morning. We got to the hospital around 1:30 am and he was born at 6:26 am. Everything went really well. We got home around 11:45 this morning. I hope you enjoy the pictures! :)

I'm feeling pretty good. Much better than after I had my first. No kidney infection this time. Luckily, Lucas is a good sleeper (so far) so I'm not too tired. He slept 5 hours last night, which was great. My hubby takes the late night feedings and I take the early morning ones, so that helps. I get to catch up when he sleeps during the day too. It will be harder after I go back to work, but I'm hoping he'll start sleeping through he night when he's 8 weeks old like Ethan did. All babies are different though, so we'll see what happens. Good thing I can drink caffiene again. ;) I'm able to drive now, so Lucas and I had our first trip to Wal-Mart today. He slept through the whole trip lol. I think I'll introduce him to TDVDS tomorrow. :D
