Bill Cosby has reportedly confessed to police he did have consensual sex with the Canadian woman accusing the funnyman of drugging and fondling her. Andrea Constand shocked Cosby fans last month by alleging the beloved comedian engaged in sexual misconduct when he took her back to his Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area home after meeting her at a restaurant. And now police sources have told American court show Celebrity Justice that Cosby has confirmed he did have a sexual encounter with Constand, but it was entirely consensual. He has also told authorities that the incident did not involve intercourse. Sources also tell the TV show's reporters that Constand, who now lives in Canada, asked Cosby for free tickets for one of his performances for her and her family months after the alleged sexual encounter. Cosby agreed to the request and the tickets were claimed.

I'd like to know what a sexual encounter is that doesn't involve sex. Groping only? :confused:

My newspaper said that he admitted to a sexual inpropriety, but I don't take the attitude, "Good for him, he's so self-righteous". What good is that kind of attitude going to do? He messed up, he fessed up, got exposed or got outed or whatever, but I still like his work. I have been enjoying the reruns of the Cosby Show from 1984-92 a great bit. Right now it is one of the very few shows in syndication (or even first run) that I find uplifting - it's not dark or sarcastic or mean spirited like some of the other sitcoms that are full of snide humor. So he did the wrong thing in real life- he at least has motivated me through his art to ascribe to something higher than just settling for mediocrity in life.

The last episode I saw was one from year 8 where Theo goes to a corporate recruitment event just to get free food and he offhandedly makes a comment that so impresses the corporate people that they want him to fly out to California for a job interview and Theo has to think about whether he should do that or go to grad school. The dialogue and the whole set-up of the story was just so good and meaningful to me and there was genuine humor in the show.

These people in Hollywood have just as many personal issues as we do (or even more).
So I say

Bill Cosby supposedly has an adult daughter as a result of an extramarital affair. He admitted the affair and supported the child, while never confirming that she was his daughter. She tried to blackmail him a few years ago by threatening to go public with the story, and he pressed charges.
