Does anyone know what happened to John (aka BuffySlayer)? The music board is not the same without him.

He was last here on the 26th, he just hasn't posted in over a month. I think, but don't quote me, that it might have had something to do with the fallout in December. I think you'll know what I'm talking about.

Seriously, John is doing well. He posts on other messages boards (PIB is not one of them). If I can't convince him to come back here, I'll let him know that some of you wish he were still around.

You want to come back, come back, but leave the drama at the door. The boards have been peaceful. There's no sense in bringing up past incidents. It will only create fights. First time back, and a fight will break out and you know it.

You want back, just post. This isn't the place to stir things up. I'll close this thread if it heats up at all.

Bringing up past problems is not in the interest of peace. If anyone wants peace, then simply post. It's as simple as that.

To begin with, BuffySlayer never caused any "drama" and secondly, he only brought up a past incident because he was asked why he left & he was merely answering a question. The "past incident" was part of the answer. I don't understand Janice, sometimes you can be so nice & sometimes you can be down right rude to people.

Warm welcome? Both TJ and I got disgusting, and I mean rotten, PMs and e:mails from Buffy. On most websites, he'd be banned for good.
This is not the place to air past grieveances, so Buffy didn't have to bring up any past arguments. It was a leading statement. He knew where his "I'm not welcome here" comment would lead. He knew someone would ask why, and of course, someone did.
It would have turned into a TJ, SO, and Janice sucks thread, and those days are over. If anyone who left with a chip on their shoulder decides they want to return to SO, it has to be with a good attitude and a fresh slate. I'm not dealing with insults or jabs at me or anyone else.
As TJ posted, anyone is welcome at his site as long as they follow the rules. Nobody is going to rag on anyone on this board. I'm sure other moderators feel the same at the boards they moderate.
Buffy could have simply started posting like others who have left and returned. He's not going to relive past arguments on this board.
Let him try it on General or Music or any other board and see how far he gets. I'm not rude to anyone. I simply, dare I say, moderated a thread that was heading for trouble.
