I finally sat down and watched the Mork and Mindy DVD that I asked for my birthday. What a disappointment. I totally forgot what a mindless piece of utter crap this show was. It was a freaking chore to watch just one episode. It sucked and it was not remotely funny. DEFINITELY the worst sitcoms of the 1970s; it is up there with Taxi and MASH.

No, I did not purchase this piece of crap with my own money (thank God) it was a gift. Actually the scene with Dork and the Fonze was the only entertaining scene of the entire DVD set. And the reason for that was because the Fonz was funny.

Tara, your personal opinion is duly noted, but lets remember that this IS the Mork & Mindy board, and posting here just to bash the show is not greatly appreciated so let's keep it respectful please.

The first season of Mork and Mindy definately was the best. The next 2 seasons weren't that great but I always thought the last season when Jonathon Winters joined the cast was a great improvement and it went out at least for me on a high point.

I love this show. The Mearth episodes were funny, but, I prefer the episodes before him. I'll still get the whole series though. :)

Yea I loved the show too. I guess the one thing I didn't like about seasons 2 and 3 was Jay Thomas. I've never been a big fan. :lol: Robin Williams was a comic genius though and he always made the show watchable.

I really enjoyed watching the first season again; while some of it does seem corny today, it has some very funny and touching moments. I preferred the first season, but loved the show 'til the end.

I don't care what everyone thinks about the fourth season. I thought it was second best to season 1. I haven't seen seasons 2 and 3 and I hope all the seasons are released.
