I've tried to listen to Howard Stern but I have never been able to go more than 5 or 10 minutes without changing the station.

I do, however, like Simon.

I don't think of Howard Stern as "rude", but outspoken.

Simon is rude, but I love him. I don't think he's really like that. I think it's a big act to draw in ratings (just like how half the bad performers are acting).

Howard Stern is nothing but a ****ing ***** and an attention whore. He's a flithy, slimy, bottomfeeding bastard who has no discernable talent except catering to the sick and disgusting masses of our society.

Simon is cool.

What the **** is the point of "deleting" posts if THEY'RE STILL THERE? delete means disappear. that's absolutely no different than just editing the post and it's a TOTAL waste of space. i mean who the hell cares who it was deleted by and why. </diva>

I deleted one, and I swear it disappeared. I was so shocked. I agree though.

I havent ever heard Simon

They're probably talking about Simon Cowell, who back 18 years ago, was on American Idol. That show was the talk of the town back then.

I take it Simon is Simon Crowell? I don’t watch American Idol (would rather be tortured with a cattle prod) but I have seen YouTube clips telling crappy performers they are awful. I think the man is just being very truthful and frank with these people. If I was him, it would annoy me to have someone perform in front of me who has no talent whatsoever. Crowell at least tells the person the truth (and it is the truth).

I haven’t really heard much of Howard Stern, but I listen to him on YouTube now and again. I actually think now he is a good interviewer. I saw like an hour show with him interviewing Hillary Clinton and as how much I can’t stand her, Howard asked her lots of questions about Hillary’s childhood (her mother’s story is fascinating) about how her and Bill met, her losing the election. Howard did well. I think probably the negative perhaps on Stern is that he is vindictive and he has no problems having fueds with people he doesn’t like (usually the other party starts it with him). But that might have been in his younger years. Thirty years ago he was a “shock jock” doing whatever crude stunts for listeners, but I think now, since he is very famous, established and a mostly positive reputation, he doesn’t do or need to do that anymore. But again, I rarely watch or listen to him.

As an aside, his film “Private Parts” is hilarious. Paul Giamatti will always be Pig Vomit. Even like “Hey, Pig Vomit is playing John Adams on HBO.”
