Sad but true but FOL hasn't aired here in Canada since the early 90s when it was on afternoons on CBC. I loved it then (I was maybe 11 or 12) and more than 10 years later I have only about 3 episodes that I taped back then at my disposal (I taped more but have spent years sorting through unlabelled videotapes looking for them). Recently I acquired a DVD a fan made me of most of the Columbia House episodes and they have only renewed my interest in the show all the more. I just wish Columbia House released episodes after Jo & Blair graduated (Edna's Edibles, Over Our Heads) because these are the ones I remember most from my childhood. I just gotta see more episodes! Anyone else wish some network would begin airing the series again? I mean they play Brady Bunch and Mary Tyler Moore to death. FOL lasted NINE YEARS and it's all but forgotten! Such a shame. We need a DVD release (and I need me some more episodes to enjoy!)

Yeah, it's a shame how such a long running sitcom can just go unforgotten... caput??

I have withdrawl simptoms big time. I don't even know why young punks today even make fun of the show and the actresses that were on it. And kids and teens today hear the name Nancy McKeon mentioned today and they think she was on a cop drama on Lifetime channel on Sunday evenings as well as the Disaster miniseries that was on CBS last November. That's it. They know who she is, but they don't even know she was on Facts of Life. See what no Facts of Life on TV does to young under 18 kids? They only Know Nancy McKeon on Facts of Life, Comfort and Joy, a few Lifetime movies, and CBS's Category 6, that's all. We need Facts of Life to come back on TV, period.
