View Full Version : What's your Favorite of These 3 Jim Henson Shows?
Adamantium 01-29-2005, 12:35 AM The Muppets (Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fozzie, Gonzo, etc.)
Sesame Street (Big Bird, Oscar, Burt and Ernie, etc.)
Fraggle Rock (Gobo, Wembly, Red, Mokey, Boober)
For me, it's Fraggle Rock. I loved that show as a kid and I still like it today. I can't wait for the Season sets to come.
I really like all of Jim Henson's creations. They were for kids, but they had an edge to them. So you can enjoy them as an adult, too.

*Pleasant Tomorrow* 01-29-2005, 12:47 AM I barely remember Fraggle Rock, but I know I watched it. Ef it, anything with Jim Henson puppets rules.
Hollow 01-29-2005, 12:50 AM the muppets are gods. we're marley and marley... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO there needs to be a remake of metalli****inca's documentary and replace everyone with just the muppets.

James"Thunder"Early 01-30-2005, 06:53 PM I always wondered what Nanny's face looked likeBarbara Billingsley does her voice, so I always imagined she looked like June Cleaver. Muppet Babies is my favorite Henson show. I used to watch it every day when it was on Nickolodeon.

Not to my knowledge. However, there are two volumes on DVD. I watched the episode "Inspector Red". I was surprised that I remembered the episode scene for scene. I even remember sitting on my couch, years ago, watching the episode and eating rice cakes (In the episode, Red ate a radish cake.)
Some shows I liked when I was a kid, I don't like today. But Jim Henson shows are cool to watch as you get older.
BTW:
About not including "Muppet Babies", I was just doing the three different groups. Muppets (which includes The Muppet Show, Muppet Babies, Muppets Tonight) Sesame Street (There's pretty much just one Sesame Street) and then Fraggle Rock (which include Fraggle Rock and Fraggle Rock: The Animated Series). With that said, growing up, I was a big fan of Muppet Babies. The cartoon for Fraggle Rock seemed dumb. It was just like the live action episodes, with the exception of being animated. I'd rather see the puppets than animation. That didn't stop me from watching it, but still.
Another thing about "Muppet Babies" is that I always wondered what happend to Skeeter. She's only in the cartoon. I guess they felt they needed another girl character.
