I found an old article about Archie Bunker's Place and it mentioned that Archie was going to remarry. They didn't know whether to stick him with a "dingbat Edith" type again or to stick with a woman who didn't put up with any of his garbage. I guess they canned the show before it could happen. I'm not sure if I would like a Jean Stapleton replacement.

According to the TV Tome episode guide (http://www.tvtome.com/ArchieBunkersPlace/season2.html) for the second season, Martin Balsam leaves the series and Archie remarries his ex-wife.

i know i was like what the heck something happen on Archie Place i didnt know about talk about a mishap i know 1 think it gave 1 heck of good laugh i know what u mean though.

Murray dose not Re Marry his ex wife Shelley. Murray did Breifly reunite with her in the episode "Murray's Wife" but Murray broke up with her again after he learned she wated to take over the bar with him push Archie out and turn it to a English pub and fire everyone else.

Murray Marries a Business Woman named Marcy Phillips. When Murrays Mother dies he blames her because he thinks he should have been with his mother insted of on a date proposing to Marcy. Murray learns that his mother was beating her friends at poker and happy when she died. But Marcy has allready taken a promotion in San Francisco to save thir relationship he goes with her and marries her.
