Forgive me if this has been posted before but I figure it would be a good topic- which landlord do you prefer? The Ropers or Mr. Furley?

This is hard for me since I really love them both but I think that the Ropers brought a cool dynamic to the show- the fact that Mr. Roper was against Jack's supposed sexuality made the show even more hysterical. It was more of "is he ever gonna find out?!" type of suspense and it was always funny to see him react to Jack. Mrs. Roper was like their ally, which I suppose Mr. Furley can be considered too. However, I love Mr. Furley :) I thought he was sooooo funny in his naive(but thinks he's cool) type of way. My vote, though, goes to the Ropers.

I loved both, I really did. I prefer RF because he could really fit in with the kids and all the trouble they got into. RF just made their situations so much funnier. I loved the Ropers too, they were hysterical, but I definitely prefer RF.

I liked Mr. Furley better. The Ropers were cool, but the sex jokes between them got kind of old after a while.

RF! :D

The RF Years were so much fun and silly! They are 3 times as fast with Dave Power's & everyone knowing the blueprint.

They would have jokes every few seconds & the crowd with just SCREAM & ROAR

I prefer RF, but I love the Ropers too. The banter between the Mr.& Mrs. was way to hilarious. & ofcourse who could forget Roper's smart ass smile into the camera. :D

The Ropers!! :woohoo:

Mr. Furley had his moments and I thought he was funny, but I'll take the Ropers. :)

The Ropers. Mr. Furley was ok, but he could be a little too goofy for me sometimes.

Yeah, I like how they had a cranky guy on there to sorta rib on Jack. I think the show needed that sorta tension on it or suspense on whether Jack would be found out. Thing is, I also love Mr. Furley's dopeyness and fun nature so it was really hard for me to choose....and I made this quiz

I love them both to bits and pieces. There's really no deciding.

Helen Roper was the best! I loved all her "can't get it up" jokes towards Mr. Roper. She was the best!

I loved both Mr. Roper, Mrs. Roper, and Mr. Furley, but if I'd have to go with my favorite, it would be Mr. Furley!!!
