Married Again

This sitcom is about a family living in Ohio. The parents: Paul and Jamie Burkhardt (Paul Reiser, Helen Hunt) got married in 1984, divorced in 1989, remarried (each other) in 1995 (and married ever since). Paul and Jamie divorced in 1989, due to the fact that Paul had an affair with his boss's daughter/co-worker, and Jamie wasn't ready to be a wife and mother at the time. They remarried in 1995, after realizing they miss and need each other badly. Paul and Jamie have three kids: Kevin Burkhardt-19 (Adam Brody), Ally Burkhardt-17 (Evan Rachel Wood), and Jake Burkhardt-16 (Griffen Frazen). Paul is an advertizing executive, Jamie is a dental hygenist, Kevin is a college freshman (at a community college), Ally is a high school junior, and Jake is a high school sophomore. Paul and Jamie's best friends, Mike and Nikki Baldwin (John Stamos, Courtney Thorne-Smith) live across the street from the Burkhardts. Mike and Nikki have no kids of their own. Also, Paul and Jamie are always working on their marriage, so they go to marriage counseling. Paul and Jamie's marriage counselor/marriage therapist is Dr. Lisa Harris (Teri Garr).
