Has anyone viewed the new UM DVD, Bizarre Murders?

If you have, tell me what you think of it. Im considering buying it and would like to know everyones opinion.

I don't believe anyone here has seen the DVD yet because it still hasn't gone on sale, annoyingly enough.

Several web sites said that the release date for the Bizarre Murders would be January 25th. But I guess somebody messed up on that because I went to Best Buy, Target, Circuit City, Walmart and Borders on Tuesday and didn't find them. One of the workers at Best Buy told me the Bizarre Murders wouldn't be released there until February 8th. Don't know about the rest of the stores. I guess we still have more waiting to do.

First Look's website and the press releases they sent me all list 01/25. They sent me a single screener disc for Bizarre Murders and Psychics.

I don't think any of the orders from Amazon.com shipped, so either the date changed or there is a delay with the distributor.

I don't know if there are any bonus features other then the audio commentaries.

The case of Marie Hilley, which is on the DVD, aired today during the first episode.

Hey guys I just got my set today. I ordered it thru the Best Buy website yesterday and got 2nd day delivery and it came today :) From what I have watched so far it is pretty good, if you have any questions or anything feel free to ask away and I'll do my best to answer.

For extras, each DVD has 2 segments that have directors commentary for them.

My Psychics and Bizarre Murders sets have just arrived from Deep Discount DVD. Missing sadly from these sets are the creator introductions, I wonder why?

It seems as if The Unsolved Mysteries DVD's might not be selling much, and the stores have decided to not put the other releases out on the shelves, It's ashame. All DVD's aren't like this though, But i will say some are. But dynoguy you should do the same i did and order them, Cause im sure the same will go for the Legends set.

That's why I ordered both psychics and legends off of cduniverse.com.They shipped my copy of psychics yesterday I should have it by Monday.The other one legends says backorder but when I ordered it it says 1-2 days on my order form.It did have a release date of 2-15 on that website but now it doesn't have that.From now on I will start ordering future volumes of UM online because the stores have apparently decided not to sell.I'm hoping there will be more volumes coming out later this year.

Wal-Mart doesn't even list the Bizaare Murders & Physics DVDs on their website so I'm guessing the others didn't sell too well. I have noticed that the Miracles DVD has disappeared from Wal-Mart shelves, but I see the UFO/Ghosts ones often.

I've seen Ghosts and UFOs in stores before, but thats it.

I saw a ton of "GHOSTS", "UFO's" and "MIRACLES" at Walmart last week. Alas, still no sign of the "BIZARRE MURDERS."

I ordered the two DVD sets on Tuesday, the day they came out, from Amazon, and received them on Friday. I've been watching them since and can say that although a few of the better murder stories have been left out, the ones included are very engaging as well. However, the only bad thing about these DVD sets is that they have no special features besides the two commentaries on each disc.

I know this sounds miniscule, but I love the text effect when they show peoples' names on the newer segments (i.e. the first one)... I know it sounds silly .. just thought I'd say so (cause I don't remember it being like that when they showed it on Lifetime).

I just received the Bizarre Murders DVD's in the mail from bigrockmedia.com on Amazon.com. They cost me like 35 bucks total with shipping. I just got them out of the mail, and I almost peed my pants I'm so excited. I'll update as soon as I get a chance to watch them.

I agree. I think the Dave Bocks, Mary Morris and Eric Tamiyasu murders that were on the disc were sufficient but some of the others weren't "bizarre", they were just murders.
