you might recognize this guy, as he posts merely to sell "complete sets" of series like "Welcome Back, Kotter," "What's Happening," "Three's Company," and who knows what else.

i purchased "Kotter" from him after receiving his guarantee that the episodes were complete with no visual or sound trouble. He lied.

many of the "complete" episodes start in progress, the pictures are fuzzy and often lose all color balance, becoming black and white with a colorbar in the center of the screen.

the set was supposed to be 7 discs, but he sent 2 of the same episodes. when i contacted him about the troubles, he told me to go to paypal if i wanted my money back (in other words, he stole my money and was happy to let someone else refund me!) and to leave me alone.

also, he mentioned that he felt i was being too picky and anal (the nerve of me wanting what was promised by the seller for a great deal of money!) and that he was sick of my complaints.

fine-i'm done with him, but i want the rest of you to know about him so you don't make the same mistake.

His member name on this board is DONOMIC. He asks interested customers to contact him at yummystatic@yahoo.com.
His Paypal account name is drizzle63. His name is listed as DOMINICK GUIDA.

His return address on the package was listed as:
GIZMO M
5426 Denny
N.H. CA 91601

(that's North Hollywood, by the way)
and one more address to watch out for: drizzle63@sbcglobal.net

His emails come from TELEVISION ATTIC, and on this site he offers "happy memories"!!

the adventure continues. i don't know if TELEVISION ATTIC, DONOMIC, DOMINICK GUIDA, yummystatic@yahoo.com, drizzle63@sbcglobal.net or whatever other alias he's skulking around under read my posts here or similar warnings i've posted on other sites but now I've received email from him after he told me GOODBYE because he was taking my money and running.

not much of an email-just a bunch of either foul-mouthed or misspelled junk (actually about the only thing he spelled correctly was the profanity) about how he doesn't care what i think of him and that i shouldn't bother writing him back because he's put my address on spam alert "so ill never get it he he!"

yup, that's a direct quote: he can't even spell HEE HEE!

as for why i'd want to keep corresponding with him, your guess is as good as mine (to ask him how my money is doing? to find out if he suckered anybody else lately?)

good riddance to bad rubbish, I say...
