CarJackSnyder 01-27-2005, 06:12 PM Fourth Season of Cheers and First Season of Charmed!
Adamantium 01-27-2005, 06:21 PM Cheers (Season 4)
Frasier (Season 4)
I Love Lucy (Season 3)
Taxi (Season 2)
I could do without "Frasier" right now, since I haven't watched the season 2 or 3 DVDs yet. But I still want to have it in my collection.
Taxi is the one I'm most excited about. I love the second season!
I Love Lucy is my second most wanted DVD for that day. That show has some great bonus features. When I taped the show on N@N back in 1995, season three is where my cable started to go bad. So there are many episodes that I didn't watch again, because I couldn't stand it. So I'm excited to get clear episodes.
As for "Cheers", I'm glad they're finally to the Woody episodes. I still like Coach more, but I want to be able to compare the two characters.

Whats wrong with the video quality?

at least from the first two episodes (I received my copy yesterday), I think Paramount did a very hack job of mastering it to DVD. The night-time scenes are incredibly grainy, and the daytime scenes are horrible. There's a few outside scenes where the picture is very soft, blurry and bright, to where the brightness and blurriness almost makes it hard to see the characters. It is obvious Paramount cut costs in this department (since they were able to straighten out the high music costs), but I frankly don't think $10 more for DECENT PICTURE would be that hard a bargain.
However, it is still nice to have the show on DVD but I am disapointed with how bad the picture quality is.
barwars 02-01-2005, 06:02 PM I already have "Frasier" and "Taxi."
I'm waiting for "Cheers" to arrive in the mail, and I'm thinking of ordering "I Love Lucy" online.
GeorgeJefferson 02-01-2005, 10:43 PM In order of priority:
1. Taxi
2. Frasier
3. Cheers
4. I Love Lucy
slackermonkey 02-01-2005, 10:57 PM Bought season 4 of Cheers and Frasier today. Now I don't have to worry about another TV DVD until next month... just enough time to save up $30 for Friends season 9.

Thanks for the info John. I'll look out for that when I get my copy (whenever that will be  )
