ABC's freshman comedy "Complete Savages" is getting the hook as the network announced today it has pulled the series from its schedule effective immediately as well as halted production following its 19th episode.

Repeats of "8 Simple Rules" are set to fill the Friday, 8:30/7:30c half-hour for the next three weeks ("Coach" on January 28, "Secrets" on February 4 and "Car Trouble" on February 11). "Savages" however is expected to air its four remaining installments following the February sweeps period.

To date this season "Savages" has averaged a far from stellar 6.09 million viewers, making it the Alphabet's least-watched comedy.
