Yeah, that's totally cool. I would also even consider buying The Fresh Prince of Bel Air Season 1 DVD set (since I like the show anyway) just to see that one episode of Head of the Class on DVD!!! That is so cool!

Call me a pessimist, but I think that one episode is lame. After all that promoting and voting and whatnot we did, HOTC still gets crappy treatment.

I still have hopes for the future, though.

I agree Dee, that still really sucks that only ONE episode of Head of the class gets put on dvd. And its not even a "Head of the class" dvd its on another show's dvd lol. I still loved The Fresh Prince of Bel-air tho, it was a really funny show and I too was thinking about buying the first season anyway so its an extra bonus to have Head of the class on there and it makes me want to buy it even more for that one HOTC episode too lol. Since we dont know when we'll get the REAL HOTC on dvd sets lol. Maybe it means there's a slight hope that if they thought enough to put one HOTC episode on dvd, maybe they'll put the rest of the series on dvd soon too! Especially if enough people buy the Fresh prince of bel-air dvd and rave how they like the HOTC episode and tell them they want more LOL. But yeah all our voting and promoting should have already been enough to get HOTC its OWN dvd tho! ahh its not fair!

I've actually already pre-ordered the Full House season 1 dvd and the Punky Brewster season 2 dvd, both of which come out on Feb 8th also, darn I wish the one HOTC episode would have got put on one of those dvds that I already bought LOL.

This sux! They have everything backwards, most of those DVD season set releases, Id rather have the one episode shows and not the season set shows IE Head of the Class and Growing Pains.

And even tho I do like Fresh Prince of Bel-air tho, but I'd also much rather have it the other way around with Head of the class and Growing Pains series on dvd, instead of just ONE episodes with other shows getting most of the dvd space lol.

This is how I see it:

Out of this list, the only season set I would buy would maybe be Full House and that's a BIG maybe. Night Court was ok but I dont like it enough to buy a season set of it.

On the other hand, out of the single-episodes shows on this list I would buy Head of the Class, Step By Step, Growing Pains, and Perfect Strangers if they were released as season sets.

So the single season episodes outnumber the season sets 4-1, pretty sad that they cant give us what we want.

So has anyone seen this episode on the DVD? What Disc # is the show on? I might rent it off of NetFLix just to see the Head of the Class episode. I would figure it would be on Disc 4? Am I right?

The bonus disc is its own disc. Fresh Prince is a 4 disc set. The bonus disc is separate, it's not numbered as disc 5. It just says:

"Commemorative DVD - Volume 1"
1.Family Matters 2.Head of The Class

Thanks for the info, I checked for it on Netflix and they dont have the Bonus Disc, just the 4 Fresh Prince discs, no use in me checking this out now. :(

With all the other tv shows getting their own DVD sets, Head of the Class shouldn't be far behind (hopefully!) I think I'll wait!

Yea I wouldnt waste my time or money buying the Fresh Prince DVD set just to see one episode of HOTL. I dont like Fresh Prince and I would just rather wait till HOTL is on DVD by itself.

Maybe this is good in a way...gets the word out about the show for people who never saw it :)

Is Fresh Prince still coming with this disk? I've been close to buying season 1 before and this would probably put it over the top for me.

If you get season 1 that bonus disc should be included. I don't have the first season of that, but I got the first season of Full House and that had a bonus disc too, but the shows were the Step by Step Pilot and the Growing Pains Pilot. I know that if you buy it though it should come with the bonus disc.

Don't bother. As been said here, and I learned by hitting the website, it was only the bonus disc, and only the pilot.

Which didnt even have the best HOTC student ... Sarah.
