I was watching the Leave It To Beaver Episode "Box Office Attraction" the other day and I really found the girl Wally likes very attractive!!! Her name is Diane Sayer so I searched google for more old pictures of her but didn't find any. Anyone else find themselves drooling over some of the babes Wally dates? hahah it's sad because most of them are old now but hey it's a hot chick!!

For some reason she reminds me of Madonna.....maybe it's the eyes. She also appeared on an episode of Ozzie & Harriet that I have on DVD. The episode of O&H was around 1965. She looked the same except her hair was longer and it was flipped out. In the O&H episode she plays a nice girl who is asked by Wally Plumstead to go with him to dinner at Rick & Kris Nelsons house. Unknown to Wally his girlfriend Ginger is there to make up with him and cook the dinner. Rick & Kris then get a fraternity brother of Ricks to stay for dinner also and make Ginger think that the girl Wally brought is with the fraternity brother and to keep from the girl knowing that Ginger is Wally's steady and they make her beleive that the fraternity brother is there with Ginger. I hope I got that straight....
Looking her up at:

She was born in 1938, which means that episode premiered right around her 25th birthday. She died of breast cancer in 2001.
The only other television credit which I have seen is the episode, "Kris Plays Cupid" on The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet." That ep is, or used to be, available for watching on liketelevision.com (which I no longer subscribe to).
Ozzie and Harriet, in case anyone is unfamiliar with it, might be an example of how LITB would have gone if the show continued into the Wally's and Beaver's college years; although neither TD nor JM would have become the rock idol that Rick Nelson did. But the love triangles, fraternity antics and other things might even have been better than on O&H, which still focused primarily on the adults, while LITB focused on the "kids." Jimmy Hawkins, who played "Dudley McMillan" in "Wally and Dudley," was one of the fraternity guys called "Jimmy"; not as timid as Dudley, but still one who lacked self-confidence.
Sorry for tangenting off ;) .

I always felt she had a "Anne Jillian" look. From the Leave to Beaver episode, I figure her character's age was 21. Marlene said she dropped out high school 3 years ago. Then again what was the drinking age back then?
