Not that I'm upset in the least of course, but I thought the 24th was the last day.
Looking ahead it airs until Friday morning.

View Full Version : What is it still doing on?? McFly121 01-26-2005, 02:56 AM Not that I'm upset in the least of course, but I thought the 24th was the last day. For the duration, at least. I never liked Murphy Brown, and never watched even a nanosecond of Full House or Fresh Prince. This just stinks. McFly121 01-26-2005, 02:46 PM That damn Fresh Prince is the most overexposed sitcom in the history of syndication. It plays AT LEAST eight times a day around here!!! (TBS, WGN, NICK, two local stations) Give it a god dang rest! And please pardon the pig, but I call it Fresh Pi** of Bel Air. Never found an ounce in humor in that show. Full House, my God, I tried watching one the other night after Wings. Kids even thought this was funny? Talk about labored and dull. Roseanne, Cosby, and House can be found on any number of other stations. Sick of it. Murphy Brown, only notable for the Dan Quayle thing years ago. I never got into it, hopefully it'll tank like Wings and they'll dump it. But at least I got to see two full rotations of Wings the last few months. It makes my night (I get the 1am eastern feed on Dish Net). spunkygirl 01-26-2005, 04:20 PM No I'd say Roseanne is the most overplayed, it airs on 4 channels in my area alone. Fresh Prince I only get on N@N and The N. Murphy Brown is very dated, but it might still do well, I think it's a good show, but Murphy is very grating on my nerves at times though. At least we still have the TVLAND marathons, I've been mostly watching Wings during the marathons anyways, cause of the time they air it. kellynch 01-26-2005, 06:31 PM I've been recording the N@N showings and the marathons on my DVR and then transferring them to tape (no DVD recorder yet). I have almost 6 full tapes with episodes so far. I really don't care what order they're in -- just as long as I have episodes. spunkygirl 01-26-2005, 06:38 PM I've been recording the N@N showings and the marathons on my DVR and then transferring them to tape (no DVD recorder yet). I have almost 6 full tapes with episodes so far. I really don't care what order they're in -- just as long as I have episodes. Same with me, I have quite a few tapes with episodes, some tapes I didn't know had Wings episodes on them, that I had recorded last year, that was a wonderful surprise :D I'm the same way, just so I get episodes, I can always transfer them later, and put them in order then :) kellynch 01-27-2005, 09:46 AM Same with me, I have quite a few tapes with episodes, some tapes I didn't know had Wings episodes on them, that I had recorded last year, that was a wonderful surprise :D I'm the same way, just so I get episodes, I can always transfer them later, and put them in order then :) As long as the TVLand marathons continue, I hope to have all the episodes at some point. I'm so paranoid about missing episodes, that I probably have duplicates from that period when N@N and TVL were showing the same episodes during the same week. But, it's pretty obvious that I'd rather have duplicates than miss any episodes. Chocoholic 01-27-2005, 04:23 PM Murphy Brown is one of those shows that I watched for the supporting characters. I thought Murphy herself needed a severe ego reduction or something. Can you imagine Wings if Roy was the main character instead of a background one? :shudders: Full House and Roseanne :barf: I hate them! Fresh Prince- Funny when I was younger. Doesn't interest me too much now. Who's the Boss- OK The Cosby Show- Like it, even if it is way overplayed. kellynch 02-01-2005, 03:02 PM My evenings are so dull now without that morning's episodes of Wings to watch. *sigh* Brian Hackett 02-16-2005, 09:12 PM I am also not happy that Wings is no longer on in the early a.m. I just don't see Murphy Brown as a show that should be on re-runs. Full House is garbage, always has been. What is funny about Bob Sagat having anxiety over dirt being on the floor. |
