Has anyone checked out Point Pleasant yet? I caught the first episode and really enjoyed it. It's got a Buffy feel to it, probably because its from the same producer. Anyone else have any thoughts? :happyface

My parents live in Pt. Pleasant, and my aunt and uncle and cousins.

This show does not even come close to showing what it's all about.
Besides the fact that it isn't even filmed there, the scariest thing about Pt. Pleasant is all the guidos at Jenkinsons on the boardwalk in the summer. And you can thank Staten Island for half of them.

Yea, I'm into this show already. I really didn't expect to like it, but is sucked me in. The main girl (christina something?) has such a unique look, creepy and gorgeous at the same time. Gives me goosebumps and a uh, well, uh, just goosebumps.

I saw the second episode. It was one of the worst hours of television I have seen in ages. And I watch a lot of television, some of it quite awful. The entire production had a very airbrushed feel and even the inclusion of Dina Meyer, who I am a big fan of, could not keep the hour from passing Oh. So. Slowly.

Who knows, though, I may just not be into those occult shows. Buffy, The Vampire Slayer and Angel were not straight occult shows, the way Point Pleasant seems to be. I did like the few episodes of Forever Knight I saw, though...
