Hi Everyone!
Did anyone see that episode? It was on today! I love the two songs that were sung By Dixie "My Buddy" and "Ave Maria". Did anyone tape it? I really want this episode! Its my New Favorite! I wish I could Buy A tape By Dixie She should really make a album she has a beautiful voice! Also can anyone tell me other songs she sung throughout the series? I know she sang "May you Always.." And A'int no mountain high enough" Any Help is Greatly Appreaciated! Thanks!

Actually, it wasn't them that sang "Ain't No Mountain High Enough..." -- it was the Supremes. There was an episode where Julia was a lounge singer under a different identity. SHe sang some song about "Kiss me once, kiss me twice, kiss me again and that makes thrice..." I can't remember the rest of it.
There is also a Christmas episode early in the show where she sings "I'll be home for Christmas." Anthony sings also, as does Mary Jo.
Try amazon.com for recording of Dixie Carter. I think she has released a couple.

I personally loved hearing Dixie sing "Walk On" in Last Tango in Atlanta. They sang it at our 8th grade graduation, so it is a special song to me!
