It's amazing how he couldn't win with the Cleveland Browns when he was their coach but he comes to New England & he gets them to the super bowl three times. They've won the bowl twice so far. I swear the Cleveland teams will never be s**t. The black defensive coordinator for the Patriots is gonna be the new head coach of the Browns next season.

Romeo Crennel. It's way over due for him and Ted Cothrell, the defensive coordinater for the Vikings. I hope these brothers get a head coaching job soon.

You're right Belechick couldn't do anything in Cleveland. I don't think he's the genius coach everyone makes him out to be. The Patriots have some amazing talented football players on that team, and thats what makes Belechick look so good.

It all has to do with having everyone buying into the system and the team concept and apparently it all clicked in New England.
I don't buy into the Belechick genius, but he is a master manipulator- watch him win 3 Super Bowls and he is a Hall of Fame coach.
He's a winner whether you like it or not.

The same could be said about Phil Jackson. Bill Belechick might not be the greatest coach, but he certainly is great with x's and o's. He was a great defensive coordinator for the Giants.

I read that when Belicheck was the DC for the Giants, he told his defense that if thurman thomas rushed for over a 100 yds in the superbowl and the Giants still lose that he would have resigned-LOL LOL

I think he was a major reason why Bill Parcells was so successful with the Giants, Patriots and Jets.

I might have missed it, but did Romeo Crennel the new head coach of the Browns? I knew he interviewed, but that's the last I heard of that.
