I just don't understand why they never got along. I even heard that Viv hated him so much that she toasted when she heard upon his death. Whoa!!

I do not know it all in detail but I do know that she did not like to be placed as his wife. She thought it was ridiculous because he looked MUCH olde than she did. I am not sure about the taost but it could have happened.

I think it was simply a difference in personality. If Viv did indeed toast his death, I say that is just plain mean spirited and no matter how much you hate or dislike someone that is just wrong. If I hate someone who dies, I simply won't waste any tears but I would never toast the death! :eek:
