Brian May some of my other favorites: Scott Ian Ritchie Blackmore Dave Mustaine Adrian Vandenberg Allison Robertson Vivian Campbell Billy Gibbons Dick Dale Joe Satriani Al Jourgensen phoebe7165 09-04-2008, 08:15 PM 2. Steve Vai (great guitarist but a jerk) Really?? Because I got to meet him and he was really nice. That's understandable, I've met Kirk Hammett twice, 1st time he was a total a$$, second time, a totally different Kirk. That might be because he was getting ready to go into a strip club that night with Lars, and he was razzed about that!!:D robyrob 09-04-2008, 10:18 PM Really?? Nothing blows more than when somebody you had admired for so long turns out to be a jerk. No matter how awesome they are musically, if I had met them, I look at them a different way after that, depending whether it was a good or bad meeting experience. catlover79 09-04-2008, 10:28 PM Nothing blows more than when somebody you had admired for so long turns out to be a jerk. No matter how awesome they are musically, if I had met them, I look at them a different way after that, depending whether it was a good or bad meeting experience. That's exactly how I feel. I was at a Hall & Oates concert in 2002 and there were about 10-15 fans outside near the bus, wanting autographs. Daryl Hall just ignored the fans and got on the bus. These stars wouldn't be where they are if not for the fans...and even though I still like their music, I always remember that incident. It's a shame, really. :( phoebe7165 09-04-2008, 10:33 PM That's exactly how I feel. I was at a Hall & Oates concert in 2002 and there were about 10-15 fans outside near the bus, wanting autographs. It would've certainly been an ego booster for Daryl because guaranteed all those fans would've told him how much they loved him and they've been long time fans and all the compliments fans tell their favorites acts. catlover79 09-04-2008, 10:42 PM Geez, I think Daryl could've made a little time for only 10-15 fans.
