This is a good movie. I saw it Wednesday. It's a old movie with William Hurt & Marlee Matlin. I think Marlee is very attractive. It's unfortunate that she's deaf & has to use sign language.

Children of a Lesser God has been a personal favorite of mine since I saw it for the first time. The chemistry between Marlee Matlin and William Hurt was great to see on the screen and I found the whole movie very inspiring.

When the two of them come back together at the very end while "Jump (For My Love)" is playing brings tears to my eyes. It's just a beautiful movie and I recommend it to anyone who has yet to see it. :)

William Hurt and Marlee Matlin became a couple during and after the movie was filmed. I heard that he became very controlling and they never married. She has been married for several years to a Chicago policeman.
Isiah stated that he felt sorry for her because of her handicap and I do too. But she probably would never had become a star (or Oscar winner) without !Things seem to work out for the best sometimes. She does have a tremendous talent. :D

I forgot to mention that William Hurt is one of my favorite actors!
