I guess it all depends what you're looking for and how much you already know about the show. For a new fan, it would be pretty informative. Barry talks about how he himself got into acting and relates inside stories about the show and later movies and spin-offs. Some of the major stories are now becoming common knowledge amongst BB fans (his date with Florence, his relationship with Maureen, etc.). I myself didn't care much for the bad language, but I guess that wouldn't bother most people. The episode guide at the end has been criticized a lot for its inaccuracies. (There is a place on Barry's web site listing a lot of the problems.) I hope this helps.

BTW, my hubby laughed at me and said, "I've never seen you go through a book so fast." I guess I must have been pretty engrossed in it; it's a lot different from what I normally read.

I wouldn't mind reading the book.I wasn't too happy with the Growing up Brady tv movie.

i really enjoyed the movie! i thought it was good. im getting the book of amazon, should be here in a few weeks.
