Wal-Mart Cashier Abducted From Parking Lot
Megan Holden, 19, was last seen in surveillance video captured in the Wal-Mart parking lot at about 11:45 last night.
In it, you can see Megan, wearing light-colored pants, running across the parking lot. Seconds later, a man dressed in black chases Megan and shoves her and himself into her truck. Moments later, they speed off.
An hour-and-a-half earlier last night, at about 10:11 p.m., Megan's suspected abductor was caught on camera loitering outside the front door, coming out of the bathroom, and walking around inside the store.
Investigators have questioned Wal-Mart employees and customers who think they saw the man.
"It's a black male, 5'6" to 5'8", approximately 140-145 lbs., 20-25 years old. He had on a black ball cap; black, short, zip-up type jacket; red, long shirt; white t-shirt; and carrying a blue duffel bag," Officer Don Martin, Public Information Officer for the Tyler Police Department, said.
Surveillance cameras and warning signs are posted throughout the Wal-Mart parking lot. But none of that seemed to deter Megan's abductor.
This evening, officers canvassed the parking lot looking for clues, after nearby helicopter searches turned up no leads.
Police need your help to find Megan Leann Holden, a white female, about 5'4" and 120 lbs. Police say she was last seen wearing a lime green, fitted T-shirt with dark, horizontal, thin stripes, and white or khaki pants.
Megan's abductor took her away in her 2002 red, Ford F-150 sport truck with license plate number 6VTV84.
Anyone with information leading to Megan or her abductor could receive an reward of up to $10,000 from Crimestoppers. Please call 903-597-CUFF if you have any information.
