View Full Version : Will That 70s Show Jump the Shark? howilu 01-20-2005, 03:15 AM With the renewal of That 70s Show for next season, do you think that the departure of Topher Grace and Ashton Kutcher will cause the show to jump the shark? Mr. Television 01-20-2005, 03:43 AM As far as I'm concerned their is no show without those two. TJL 01-20-2005, 06:04 AM I think the show jumped the shark when they brought in another actress to replace Lisa Robin Kelly. After that, things began go downhill. Brian Damage 01-20-2005, 11:46 AM Definitely! How can you take the two funniest actors away from the show and expect it to still be funny. snl75 01-20-2005, 04:41 PM I think the show jumped the shark when they brought in another actress to replace Lisa Robin Kelly. After that, things began go downhill.as a major lisa robin kelly fan i thank you for saying that i really miss her those cirtics who said that she added very little to the show dont know what they are talking about snl75 01-20-2005, 04:59 PM but to get back to the topic at hand as much as im glad to see the show come back i think the shar is going to be in a tank in the foreman basement next season . there is no reason whatsoever to continue the show without topher and ashton even if the rumours are true that topher may come back for a few guest apperences .after all we will be very if we see him 4 or 5 times next season what are they going to do the other 15 or 16 shows lets just hope they dont go the happy days route and bring in some long lost cousin that weve never seen or heard of before. Joker85 01-24-2005, 12:33 AM the show jumped the shark 2 years ago. Now it is jumping whole whales. I don't see how it will survive without Topher and Ashton. And what will they do with Donna? She's already boring and completely useless with Eric around. Not to mention with Eric gone it'll be more and more implausible that they will still hang over at his house with Kitty and Red. So sad to see what has happened to this show. And again I say, 3 episodes ago it was Christmas 70. Do they intend to spread a year and a half's episodes over the span of one week. Eventually they'll have to make the jump into the 80s. |
