OK, the date: 7/7/01. I'am going to tbe back of the Balasco Theater to get the autographs for the show, Follies. I talk to Betty Garrett about Laverne and Shirley, and Judith Ivey pops in, and says, I was on Desinging Women. I was totally surprised, I didn't reconize her.

She was in the 6th and 7th seasons as Carlene, Charlene's sister! Who in fact, didn't come in to play until she actually showed up on the show. In the earlier episodes where Charlene's family comes, her sisters are Marlene, Harlene and Darlene!
