Well, to tell you the truth, nobody knows what happened to Buzz and Sonja. I remember them saying that on the reunion show. As for Carol, she had some problems with her husband Joe Hamilton (the producer) and refused to have anything to do with him. I believe I read that in Vicki's book....but I'm not sure :D

Yeah, that's right, jterry. Carol and Joe went through a nasty divorce apparently, and later Carol got ahold of Vicki with the idea to do a syndicated Mama's Family show, but Vicki had to inform her that she had just signed on to do that very same thing with Joe as Producer.
So, yeah, that's why she didn't want to do any of the syndicated episodes, because she was pissed off at Joe, and even a little bit at Vicki.
But they patched things up later.

it would've been nice to see what Carol and Vicki's Mama's Family would be like, if that rumor is true...
