Hello
I'm new here, so if I make any mistakes, then please forgive me.
I'm trying to find where Hugh Beaumont lived at during his years in Hollywood or
at least during the Beaver years and was wondering if anyone might be able to help me out. What I'm looking for is the address, street name, ect. I'd appreciate it.
Back in the 1980s I applied for a job at Universal Studios, along with about
twenty other people. We were put in a room where we would be brifed on
what jobs were being offered, ect. In the corner was a large styrofoam head
stone that said CLEAVER. I had no idea what it was there for but I figured it
was an old prop was the tv show. I worked there for about a year before
moving to Oregon. When the tv movie "Still The Beaver" aired my wife and I
tuned in. And there it was - that head stone that I had seen with the name
CLEAVER on it.During the time that I worked at the studio, I never forgot
about that head stone and planned to find it and take a picture. But, I never
did. Anyway, I thought you might enjoy the story.
Thanks
Bob

I read somewhere that Hugh Beaumont lived on an island off Minnesota before his death.

That headstone thing is cool. Did you help make the movie?

There was a contract that Hugh signed on ebay where he signed his name and address. He lived in Tarzana at the time. I used google earth and walked through that neighborhood. Nice area.

Wow that must have been the model for the headstone they used in Still the Beaver. That was a very good moment when they go to the cemetery and remember Mr. Ward Cleaver.

Hugh owned a small island (Balgillo Island) near Grand Rapids Minnesota.
