View Full Version : Did you like the Blonde or the Brunette Jeannie?
Belair 01-16-2005, 01:14 AM I'm talking about the 2 sisters (both are barbara eden)
The blonde wore the pink outfit and the brunette wore the green one :)
Who did you like more, and i dont mean their characters since the green jeanie was an evil one,i mean, did barbara look better as a blonde or as a brunette?
major 01-16-2005, 01:38 PM Without a doubt, blond Jeannie. I do not even like that she was cast as a character with darker hair in Ride th Wild Surf.
dandelion wine 02-16-2005, 03:13 AM Blonde Jeannie!
Céline 02-22-2005, 06:58 PM Blonde Jeannie
Mikado 07-09-2005, 11:02 PM While i usually prefer brunettes ( my gorgeous blonde GF excepted ...love you Honey ), I deffinately think she looked best as a blonde...her eyes and complexion worked better as a blonde
TV Knowledge Fan 04-27-2006, 05:36 PM ...I'll tell you- I love the "real" Jeannie, blonde hair and all!
BUT...there are times when I have a yen for her "rotten sister"....she always gives me the impression that she's "dropping by" inbetween parties, affairs, sexual conquests, and other "sordid" adventures (though not in that order).
Oh, yes, and those times she "has" to "serve her master" [although I suspect she goes through them like Kleenex. No wonder she once declared, "I'm so bored, I could SCREAM!!"].
If you'll pardon the expression, she always breezes in as though she just had a good ---. You kind of wonder what would happen to Major Nelson if she really DID have her way with him....
Wow, I guess I'm outnumbered. I liked her with the brown hair the best.
BSDDomi 06-20-2006, 01:17 PM Blonde Jeannie...
I thought she looked best as a blonde.
catlover79 07-29-2007, 10:34 PM Blond
Mikado 07-30-2007, 02:21 AM While i usually prefer brunettes ( my gorgeous blonde GF excepted ...love you Honey ), I deffinately think she looked best as a blonde...her eyes and complexion worked better as a blonde
:yeahthat: Once again, Ill go with the answer I gave almost 2 years ago when i was a newbie
Lee G 07-30-2007, 12:21 PM I like the brunette Jeannie because she acts sexy & sultry. The blonde Jeannie acts cute & innocent most of the time.
ClassicTVGal 07-30-2007, 01:16 PM Definately "Blonde Jeannie". :)
Ohio8 09-11-2007, 11:51 PM BLONDE!!!
Heidi Dawn 09-13-2007, 12:01 PM Blonde Jeannie, she was the sweet innocent Jeannie. Brunette Jeannie was the evil one, although it was entertaining when she appeared.
tv star collector 09-13-2007, 01:38 PM It always bothered me that they never even bothered to give Jeannie's
sister a name! At least, on BEWITCHED Samantha's twin had a name
[Serena]. (Come to think of it, the idea of naming a genie "Jeannie" didn't
require a lot of imagination -- but it did work nicely into the title of the show.)
But then, maybe genies in general don't have names--the genie in Disney's
"ALADDIN" is simply called Genie. The only genie besides Jeannie that did
have a name (that I can think of) was Babu in the Hanna-Barbera cartoon
version of JEANNIE.
OH Nuts! 09-29-2007, 12:13 AM Blonde Jeannie
TV Knowledge Fan 10-06-2007, 04:49 PM ..James Henerson's part. In "Jeannie Or the Tiger", when Tony wonders why Jeannie's sister is also named "Jeannie", she shrugs it off by claiming, "We are all genies".
:tv:
BarneyFife 03-11-2008, 05:13 PM Blond. But she was hot either way.
Carrie 03-13-2008, 10:53 AM I definitely preferred her as a blonde.
Fallon97 05-12-2008, 05:47 PM Wow, I guess I'm outnumbered. I liked her with the brown hair the best.
I liked the darker hair better, too.
But then again, I also liked the blonde hair. I guess it's a tie for me.
cat899 01-04-2009, 07:19 AM Blond....BY FAR!
faraj 06-27-2009, 02:24 AM Blonde Jeannie, she was the sweet innocent Jeannie. Brunette Jeannie was the evil one, although it was entertaining when she appeared.
Yeah, blonde Jeannie. Hands down. The brunette Jeannie's the bad gal. The recurring antagonist of the show.
MickeyMac 06-27-2009, 01:02 PM I prefer brunettes myself but I gotta go for blonde Jeannie. There are things about the brunette Jeannie I liked like that she was sultry and sexy and the way she said daaaarrrrrllllllllling. That was kinda cool, and she was always able to dupe her sister.
Dusty's Fan 06-30-2009, 03:17 PM Blonde I must say. Dyn-o-mite!!! LOL
And I loved how Barbara looked in several of the black & white episodes in particular when she wore other outfits, with great looking '60s hairstyles.
novarrofan 07-03-2009, 09:34 PM Samantha didn't have a twin on "Bewitched", Serena was actually Samantha's cousin
Frump 12-22-2012, 07:50 PM Samantha didn't have a twin on "Bewitched", Serena was actually Samantha's cousin
According to the Patty Duke Show, twin cousins are possible lol
Frump 12-22-2012, 07:52 PM I heard that originall Jeannie was supposed to be brunette. They feared using a blonde Jeannie would just be another way the show would be too similar to Bewitched. But Barbara Eden won over everyone.
