Hi.

I have a tape that was used for time shifting in our house in the mid 80s-it has a whole lot of fragments from various shows on it. Anyway, one of those fragments is DEFINETLY from the Cosby show, and it was DEFINETLY from march 1986 to maybe may 1987, because the recording that directly follows this clip was without a doubt from mid 1987 or earlier. there was no sound on this clip, but it showed claire and the cos in the living room, dancing. Claire was wearing alot of yellow (at least on her back), and the cos was wearing a white (or grey) sweater. Can anyone identify the episode this was from?

hmm lets see, there is one where she is wearing a yellow dress when Theo goes to the prom. But he was wearing a suit in that one. My other guess would be the jitterbug something like that where Cliff and Clair are going to a dance with their friends. Hope this helps some. http://www.sitcomsonline.com/ubb/smile.gif

You're right, it's "The Prom" episode.
When Theo and his friends are planning
Prom night, Clair mentions that she
never went to her prom, so Rudy and
Vanessa put together a prom for their
mom and she is in the yellow dress.

I believe I may know which episode you were talking about-
If it is the episode when clair and Cliff are dancing, I think in front of Denise's friends- Clair is wearing a yellow shirt and a black skirt (I think) and she runs and jumps in Cliffs arms-who is wearing a greyish or blue sweater. I believe it was during either the first of second season-but I remeber it being from either 86-or 87 too. Hope this helps...if you need more, type the cosby show in a search engine and you will get a lot of websites with the listings of the shows/episodes.
