A lot of problems lately... let me address a few things.

First and foremost, this is a LITB board. Yes, there is only so much you can talk about LITB. That's why a single off-topic thread is allowed. This is the rule on all sitcom boards here. The LITB board will not receive any preferential treatment. This is not a teen chat line board where you just talk about whatever you want. If you want to talk about off topic stuff continuously then you can use the Chit Chat board whichi is linked at the top of the page.

Some of you are just very immature and have a lot of growing up to do. Telling an admin 'screw you' or other nasty things is a very quick way to get yourself banned.

Some of you are just phonies and frauds... namely "Tonyd"... he had you all fooled, posting on 4-5 different names. He made them all up.

Yes, this Tonyd has problems trying to fool people. Aliases are NOT allowed, and we WILL find out if you have another name. And some people are very rude not following the rules, by doing whatever they feel like then going on other boards saying we are discrimenating against. Rules are meant to be followed, that is why they are there. I hope this 12 or 13 year old has rules in her house, you know who you are.

I think one off-topic thread is very fair, but this person continues to create new threads, and they will be deleted, and the user will be banned.

well it's obvious that Amy (OK Beaver Fan 89) and AJ/Tonyd would have the same IP address, as they are brother and sister. and duluthduke cannot possibly be Tonyd because i knew duluthduke on here long before Tonyd registered. and if I'm correct he registered in late 2003. and about SDGirl, i have nothing to say. I just know that you're wrong about him using all those names. i have a lot of proof.

I see Tonyd has been banned. I can think of another member who deserves banning much more than he does.

I know Duke very well from other message board rooms, and I think very highly of him. Multiple screen names is not his M O. Now there is someone else here who does use a lot of names.

I also talked to him since I registered here almost a year ago so he can't possibly be the same as Tonyd.

Yes, evermore, he also doesn't play the games others do over there-who shall remain nameless!!!! They post here & try to go to our boards & get trouble started. They always get deleted so they are jealous of a few posters over there & like to troll around over there, trying to get trouble started! Yep, Duke always seemed pretty cool to me too. Never thought of him to be the troublemaking type at all. I forgot about that search that was done last year. Perhaps they should reinvestigate this one just to be sure.

i don't believe that at all. I live in Taunton, Massachusetts, but it lists my IP from Yarmouth, Massachusetts. it's wrong.

they did a test because the IP addresses for ElvisDustyFan and Unwanted Angel were the same and it turned out wrong, so it can't be trusted.

I have been communicating with Duke for almost 2 years. As far as I know, he has had only one screen name here. Duluthduke, period.

I met him here in February of last year and it's not at all like him to do this. those IP addresses are far from accurate. AJ only has one name here too. Think about it, duluthduke registered in 2003, AJ registered around July, his sister registered in October, and SDGirl registered around November. They all registered at times so far from eachother that there is no way they could all be the same. Usually when people have more than one name they register all around the same time, usually within the same month.

You guys were all fooled, and none of you want to believe it. If I had known somebody for months and then found out the truth, then I wouldn't want to believe it either. I sent AJ an e-mail and I'm still waiting to hear back from him. If he really has nothing to hide, then he should respond.

Your IP address doesn't list your exact city. It is the city where your ISP (Internet Service Provider is located). You would admit that Oklahoma and Minnesota are not even close to each other?

Duluthduke - I assume that means Duluth, Minnesota where the ip addresses are. Tonyd's and the rest of the ip addresses are the same as Duluthduke - which is in Minnesota. I wish there was an easy way for me to explain ip addresses so you would understand it.

Agent Fallon - there is no way different people have the same IP address. Tonyd is clearly on the other names, unless someone else in the household is also posting. But as Todd said, why did he state he is from Oklahoma when he has a Minnesota IP? IP's might not be exact in the city you live in - it goes by where the cable/internet provider is; such as my IP states Union, NJ, while I'm in Linden, NJ because my cable company is located in Union, but they are not THAT far off - Minnesota and Oklahoma is a huge difference.

Having the same exact IP, is not a coincedence. If he thinks he can fool people, and still try to deny he isn't the same person, he is crazy -- we have all the proof we need. EXACT IP. IP's are unique. How can 4 different people go around having the same IP on the internet? It's like saying 4 different people have the same SSN.

Some one I know just tried to sign up with Sitcoms, but their IP address was denied and they live in Minnosota.

As for Duke, he is an older person and he just so happened to notice that Tonyd was from Oklahoma where he wants to move to.

I have known Duke for a while, and having various screen names is not his thing. Plus, Duke goes away a lot, and stays in hotels that provide internet service. Duke was also in the process of moving a few weeks ago, when the other board was getting saturated with porno scripts.

Duke said his name was banned and cannot get on the boards to even read the threads at this point, so if there is any private mail under his name, he cannot access it.

It's so easy to sign up on the TV Land boards under multiple names and ip addresses. How many different people do you think are really posting there? On these boards though, your ip address is logged on every post you make. He has yet to explain how those 4 usernames were all made on the one single ip address. Tonyd's ip address (nor OK Beaver Fan) is not in Oklahoma, therefore he does not live in Oklahoma and it's just another one of his own lies. He's spun a big web of lies.

If you notice in Tonyd's posts they often have used exclamation points, some would say excessive use. Take a look at the style of posts and the use of exclamation points. He's not educated on ip addresses, and how they can be used to track you down to your exact location.

I banned FiremanGus' ip as I knew that was him also.. again under another alias.. really I have to wonder how many names he's posting on now.

Tonyd, duluthduke, OK Beaver Fan 89, and SDGirl90 - all have the same IP address. There is no way to dispute that information. The ip address is located in Minnesota, not Oklahoma. These are not just coincidences. Whether he makes up all these names just for fun and games, or if there is a serious problem.. I really don't know.

It's so easy to make up an identity on the internet, but there's no going around the ip address. It's an exact match.

Fireman Gus and Duke are 2 different people. Fireman Gus sent me his website just a few weeks ago and is going to school. Duke is writes and I have one of his books. Fireman is studying to be a chef.

FiremanGus & Duluthduke are two different people. Trust me, I know this for a fact!!!!! They are two different races, also!

I do happen to know about IP addresses & yes, you can "phony" an IP address. Spammers do it ALL the time.

Furthermore, if you are on dial up you are assigned a different IP number everytime you connect to the internet. It is not an exact science, as I'm sure you are aware.

Just because two posters are from the same state does NOT mean they have the same IP address....they are both from the MN. true, but they are not the same individual.

Cable/DSL lines often have 'static' ip addresses.. meaning they don't change. These ip addresses were not faked, the usernames and aliases are faked. I've already posted the screenshots, again there is no disputing that. He has no answer for that. The ip addresses are EXACT matches. I feel sorry for everybody, especially to people like Michael and Kristen who were deceived.

I understand that perhaps you were offended...but unless he set up a meeting with these girls it's not a crime to lie about who you are online-I'm sure many here aren't who they pretend to be.

It's not a crime to have a false identity on a board unless you are using it for crimimal activities, i.e. meeting underage children for a meeting, identity theft, etc.

To answer your question, yes, I am a parent & my children aren't allowed on the computer at home or at school unless they are under adult supervision. My children aren't allowed to go to chat rooms or message boards-it's my job to protect them & I wish more parents felt the same.

The only thing that Fireman Gus did wrong was his timing was off and that he lives in MN. He is another well respected poster on the other board. As for Duke, he said that he appreciates all of the support that everyone has shown. He thanks everyone who backed him up.

There is just an overwhelming amount of evidence that duluthduke has posted on atleast 3 other names. Look at all of the other posts in this thread and draw your own conclusion. I find it very upsetting that an adult would pretend to be a teen to interact with other teens if that is indeed the case here. It just doesn't add up. I finally heard from Fireman Gus, and he gave me permission to post his webpage. Totally different from Duke's.

I have decided to remove both webpages from the message board. Duke's has been up for several hours and Fireman Gus had been posted for an hour. I hope you were able see that they are 2 different people.

I thoroughly trust the Administrator on this one. From what I've read here, there's more than enough evidence and sufficient reason for banning these people from the board. I for one do not want to "run into" either one of them here - particularly the one masquerading as a teen in order to interact with teens. You are simply "protesting" too much; it's becoming annoying. Please stop pleading this case; let the Adminstrator do his job. Let's put closure on this issue and let's get on with the reason we are here - to discuss "Leave It to Beaver."

Just for the record, duluthduke and I are not the same person. I am from Minnesota, yes, but from the Mankato area, while duluth is from the metro area, having recently moved from Duluth. I hope those of you who have viewed my website have substantial proof that we are different people.

The reason (only reason) that I registered was to state that have posted at the TVLand boards since May, 2004, when I registered there. Duluthduke has only posted under two names: duluthduke and djduke. So there is no deception there. I also have 2 names: FiremanGus and 85158; which I explained very clearly on the board. None of us trick or deceive each other. We are only interested in discussing pertinent LITB items.

I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions on you FiremanGus. While it may be true he has only posted on only 2 names over at the TV Land boards, I think if you read through this thread thoroughly you'll see he's been very deceptive and outright lied and has posted on atleast 4 different usernames here.

The fact is the TV Land boards apparently have no ip logging system and nothing to limit people from registering more then 1 username. I don't even know if they verify e-mail addresses and whether you need one to join up over there.

^I have not nor do I need to address these issues.^ The fact is that we (duluth and all others at TVLand Boards) have posted together since I registered in May, 2004. You are right that I don't know everything about everyone else at the boards. Though, my expereince at the TVLand Boards has been positive, and truly am a die-hard fan of LITB.

So sorry. I guess I'm a little jittery. You appear to be an associate of Tonyd, duluthduke or whatever he chooses to call himself and I guess I'm subject at the moment to looking at you in the light of "guilt by association." There's no reason for me to think that just because you are more close to duluthduke than I would care to be that you are going to pull the same tricks as he did and deceive us. There's no reason for me to think that just because you are Tonyd's or duluthduke's supporter and associate that you are going to masquerade as a teen in order to interact with the young members here. That sort of thing is reprehensible. I can hardly believe that that man was sneaking around this board deceiving young people. Our Adminstrator is to be commended in bringing that deception and disaster waiting in the wings to an end. I also understand Tonyd or duluthduke apparently referred to our Administrator as a racist or something just as unpleasant and I don't like to think that you or any other member here who has befriended or supports "the banned one" are going hurl such slanders around this board. Could be an older person trolling for teenagers if you ask me, I'm suprised it's allowed to remain on here, especially if children are on the board.

Doesn't seem like someone who is really worried about younger posters to me, but a hypocrite trying to divert attention from their actions-hits a little too close to home. :eek:

I just think children & teens should be able to have a safe time while on the web.

Sucking up to the administrators doesn't hide the fact that a person is a hypocrite & the truth will come out, sooner or later.

I have no hidden agenda behind commending the administrators in their actions, but some do. I have nothing to hide-my IP can be traced all day but I bet others wouldn't be able to say the same. I wish ALL boards had a IP address tracer & locator-it would make the net a much safer place for everyone.

I DO care about children & would never post such nonsense. Keep it clean, if you're so worried about another posting "looking for teens". Why post such nastiness? That's better suited for an ADULT site, not a family message board-my family doesn't read that type of mess. I wouldn't want my kids reading that junk.
