I was born in 85, and from all the anchors I remember, Norm and Tina have to be the best.

Amy has potential to be great, she just needs a little bit more fine tuning.

Dennis Miller hands down. I remember my parents would let me stay up late during the 80s to see Dennis Miller before I had to go to bed.

Norm MacDonald then Dan Akroyd and Dennis Miller, with Charles Rocket dead last at minus 312 points.

Good - but neither were truly considered "anchors". Co-anchors really.

But yeah - gotta love Point, Counter Point!

This is one case where I can understand people's differences in taste. Norm MacDonald is my pick because I love that dark sense of comedy. That's just my taste. I also understand why people would pick Miller or Fey/Fallon.

Norm MacDonald

I voted for Dennis Miller, but IMO, Norm is a close second.

The way he did Weekend Update wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but I thought he was hysterical.

I voted Kevin Nealon, although I really liked them all.

Dennis Miller would have to be a close second.

I saw Kevin Nealon's name and immediately eliminated him from consideration. For me, Miller was a close second to Curtin/Murray. Norm was good too.

Kevin Nealon is fine, but as WU anchor, I thought he was one of the weakest.

I have to go with Dennis Miller, he brought update back from the Dead, did it the longest and really re-invented it after it floundered in the early 80s.
