i was about 10 years old when "operation petticoat" was airing. i was born and grew up in long beach, california. my father and i used to go ocean fishing in our cabin cruiser and we used to fish right next to the pink submarine, which was anchored just a hundred yards or so north of the queen mary in the harbor. the sub floated there for a year or so after the show was cancelled. does anyone remember seein the sub in the harbor? it was kinda hard to miss.
