Unsolved Mysteries aired the story of the Poverty Island Treasure. The story involved one mans search for lost gold from the 1860s that is supposedly at the bottom of Lake Michigan near Poverty Island. I believe that a portion of this story was included in the 200th Aniversary Show. Can anyone tell me the episode number or month and year of the original episode of this story?

The History Channel is airing a new series, The Curse of Civil War Gold, involving Rick Lagina and some other participants in The Curse of Oak Island. In this case, the gold was with Jefferson Davis at the time of his capture by Union troops from Michigan in May, 1865. He tried to hide six wagon loads of gold and treasure from them but the troops found it. The modern-day explorers have found where the troops burned the wagons, buried the treasure, and later dug up most of it except for a few pieces they missed. It is also supposed to have ended up sunk in Lake Michigan and is supposedly still there. While they're at it one would think they could look for both. I will suggest it and hope they cut me in for my cleverness.
