its crazy because I don't remember anything juicy happening at our school but I know it has something to do with this one senior and thats all I know lol

heres the article from our paper:

TAYLOR -- Riverside Junior-Senior High School could land in the national spotlight if MTV follows through with plans to use the school as a setting for one of its "High School Stories."

"High School Stories: Scandals, Pranks & Controversies" tapes true-to-life re-enactments of actual high school stories involving troublemakers or class clowns, according to MTV's Web site.

The program coordinators contacted the school district about shooting scenes on location at the high school in February. Superintendent Sal Luzio is negotiating with the program on the dates for filming. The actual air date of the program is not yet known.

Filming at the school comes on the heels of last year's completion of a districtwide construction/renovation project that gave all three district buildings a new appearance.

Board President Thomas Harrison believes filming will take place during class time.

While MTV will have its own set of actors to do the show, Riverside students may get their shot at stardom if the show needs extras, board member Jocelyn Kreig said.

In another matter, the board approved an agreement with solicitor Ray Rinaldi to include an hourly rate of $55 for January through December 2005 to cover additional research he performs outside of meetings. This is in addition to the retainer fee of $700 a month or $8,400 a year already approved.
